Don't know if you watched the game last night or not but we were overmatched and out sized at every single position....EVERY POSITION

We need a decent Center but those are very rare

Tari and Dillon were out. Amen and Cam are rookies, they're not ready for a team like Minny (but hopefully they will be in a year or two). Jabari needs to add more strength and clean up mistakes. Relax, we have most of what we need and they just need more development. We should probably go out and get a backup center at the deadline (or sooner), but other than that, we're fine for now.

It's not a big deal that one of the best teams in the NBA outmatched us...

Himbasketball is the best poster on this site today. I absolutely love it when a fan speaks truth and then all the excuse makers come out and defend the falsity. In this case the simple truth is we’re too small and lost last night’s game because the much taller people got rebound after rebound after rebound. It had nothing to do with us missing a couple smaller players. Reality is we lose 10 out of 10 to this team if we don’t add size at some point in the future. Keep making excuses everybody, but that is the fact and it is fixable if the Rockets want to fix it.

One of the espn analysts mentioned in the podcast that rockets intended to sign all three, and the remaining money went to Brooks after Lopez backed off.

More like, "this would be different if Brooks Lopez didn't welsh on signing with us."

Would have been a great get but now we have to pivot and what we have just ain't it.

There's got to be somebody out there that Stone can take a chance on.

I was actually kind of happy we were ... kinda in the game, but then ... ugh. Missing 2 key guys definitely makes a difference, but we're not on their level. They have 2 good big men up front and a young star in the backcourt with solid veterans all-around. From what I've seen so far, though, we have the capability of playing with some of the best in the league, but generally are probably going to lose. The good news is that we generally beat teams we are supposed to beat. That's definitely a step in the right direction. In other words, I think our record is probably about right or maybe even a bit better than expected. It'll be great to see us improve as the season goes on.

We had one. Morey inexplicably waived him in June of 2020. The same month, Morey signed David Nwaba to replace him. I have never understood it.

I’ve recently listened to all Udoka post-game interviews in the playoffs during his run to the Finals, with the #1 defense.

“Physicality” is one of his favorites words to use when critiquing the team after a lose, both offense and defense physicality.

so, not just a Rockets thing. I guess his definition of physicality is something that can slip if players are not constantly prodded and reminded. Something the other team will do better on any given night, if you don’t bring it.

Mental fatigue is natural given that those players have to play these amount of games.....and not just play them but play them well.

Udoker is likely that little demon that prods and nips at you when you are slacking.
