Let's face it: Dream - great as he was and as well as he played at times last season - Dream was not going to take us to a championship this year. We're pretty damn good and getting better, but we're not yet in a position to beat LA in the postseason. (This team hasn't even *made* it to the postseason.) Fine. Let's get our guys signed, use these picks wisely down the road, and let's get a big man that can play until Rudy decides it's time to exercise Cato for a couple of minutes (Jackson? Sabonis??), and let's see what happens. It may very well be that Dream would have been more of a distraction than a positive next year. That's over, and I, for one, am more and more excited about the season.
I would like for the Rockets to meet with a few FA that I have in mind. The first would obviously be M. Jackson. Second, I think Jax might need some help so I had Sabonis in mind for like 1 mill for one year. And lastly, I would like to see if we could get Jim Jackson signed instead of SA. I think he's better and could be cheaper. ------------------
