Cam Whitmore putting in work

Tari must get close to 30 every night! Between the 3 & 4 that’s reasonable. Cam’s minutes must not come at Tari’s expense. If anything they should come from Jalen’s minutes. Tate needs to be moved at this point.

Move Tate and Holiday to a vet team wanting help in the playoffs. Grab a couple of future seconds. Take 5ish min from Green. Distribute those to Amen and Cam. Maybe we lose a couple extra games but I just feel like this is more value.


FVV, Dillon, Unc are enough veterans and minutes played by vets.

 

um, is this news? Is Tari on a minutes restriction the rest of the year?

 

Cam has proven to Ime he needs to be in the rotation. That's all we need to fret about at this juncture.

The better he plays the more minutes he'll get, Ime showed us that in CHI.

Relax CF we're in good hands.

 

Well he has been so far - and he has missed the last 3 or 4.....so not sure it is getting better.

Until Dillon gets back Cam needs to be part of the starting 5 and Tate running with the second unit.

 

Agree 100%! and if he does well while starting(and I think he will) he should start at the 2 spot getting a lot of Jalen's minutes when Brooks comes back.

 

If Cam remains hungry and confident, he can overcome most of his shortcomings . I'm glad his defense is better and he's starting to pass the ball a bit. He set up uncle Jeff for the dunk instead of taking a bad shot.

 

Those things heal over very long time, like over 2-5 months and he can likely play through it but it is not helpful at all.

 

Don't know how long it will last but Ime flat out said he was on a minutes restriction, I believe it was in a post game interview ....

 

Thanks! I got to watch the Summer League games before I had to go away for military training in July and August. I'm glad to see he's progressing and looking to become a great Rocket.

 

Is Cam Whitmore a bust?

 

So Cam laid an egg against the Pistons. It won't be the last time, especially since he's a rookie.

It's the body of work that matters and the overall progression he shows.

Setbacks give us a chance to see how he handles adversity in the NBA and hopefully the Celtics suffer the consequences.

 

Unfortunately Cam has been beyond bad the last couple of games and proving Ime right to bench him.

 

Amen laid the bigger egg against his brother, but he was not playing much anyhow.
