The 23-24 Pistons are the worst team ever assembled. It's one thing to have the Process Sixers or those Bobcats teams that were designed to be bad. Even the Silas era Rockets. These Pistons were supposed to be good. I think they're going to suck again next year. They'll trade and sign people to complement Cade but he's a bad player. He's KPj minus all the anger issues. Lazy analysts will look at stats and say "oh he puts up 25/5/5" but when's the last time you can remember seeing Cade do a silky smooth pass or feint like Sengun? Almost never. He's a dumb player. Not a processor of the game. It's going to be years before the Pistons move on from him like the Rockets might be doing with Green soon enough if he doesn't get it together consistently. There is no FVV out there either because Cade is the one dominating the ball the whole game. The Cade/Green/Barnes/Mobley quartet probably has less collective basketball IQ than Sengun does.

 

who told you Det was supposed to be good. They had the lowest projected win total at 27 before the season started. The only other team that was lower was Washington at 24. They were never going to be any good this year. They added 0 relevant vets and significant players and merely added more youth to their team.
