That is probably what will or already has happened... THere is supposed to be press conference at 4 pm PST announcing something about the trial...
What a scam. It seems the strategy is let's get another judge who rules in our favor at a later date. Which ****s Kobe. That is so wrong. The judge should consider it an insult to his bench and deny them on that reason alone.
my thoughts exactly. but this particular court is the poster-boy for judicial incompetence, so its response will be interesting.
Link It's over: alleged victim calls it off Randy Wyrick September 1, 2004 It’s over. Kobe Bryant's alleged victim has reportedly said if there was one more mistake by the courts she was "out." On Friday, that breach happened when the jury questionnaire was leaked to KCNC Channel 4 television, Denver's CBS affiliate. On Wednesday, in the early afternoon, the alleged victim, through her attorneys, notified prosecutors she was out of the case. The move comes on the heels of a defense motion to dismiss the case. Bryant's defense attorneys said in their motion that prosecutors withheld a medical report they say would exonerate their client. Timeline: Around 2 p.m. Bryant's local attorney, Terry O'Connor, arrived at the office of John Clune, the alleged victim's attorney, looking for Clune, who was "hot footing it" back from Avon Municipal Court where he was arguing a civil matter. O'Connor met with Lin Wood, the alleged victim's other attorney in the civil case against Bryant. At about 2:30 p.m. O'Connor arrived at the Eagle County Courthouse. At around 2:45 p.m. District Attorney Mark Hurlbert and Deputy District Attorney Gregg Crittenden entered courtroom 2 of the Eagle County Courthouse. They were said to be "red-faced" and "looked upset." Around 3:30 p.m. Clune and Wood, the alleged victim's attorney's arrived at the courthouse. At 3:50 p.m. prosecutors Ingrid Bakke and Dana Easter stride up the hallway to courtroom 2. At 4:10 p.m., a podium was rolled out for a 5 o'clock press conference. I dont think a prosecutors care if your innocet or not if they can win the case they will lock up for life if they could.to me the court system is just a game anyway ,I hope this is true ,because I don't believe he did it anyway.
I was convinced that Kobe raped her, but these latest developments tell me that this girl is a complete idiot, and I don't know any more. I just read Kobe Bryant's "statement" which was obviously carefully negotiated as part of the motion to dismiss the criminal trial (and probably the civil suit). No way in hell does Kobe say the things he says in that statement unless he's got a settlement of the civil suit lined up. Wow. The person who said earlier that it was all about getting paid was right. Everybody got paid all around. I just feel we all got played, big time.
Thanks for sharing with us that you are into sodomy. Seriously, isn't the accuser still going through with a civil suit against Kobe? I don't know much at all about the court system and stuff, but isn't that a little odd that she would drop the criminal suit but still press on with the civil suit? What is up with that?
