He is young enough (age 23) to fit with our core and already under contract through 2027. According to Heat fans, he has improved this season defensively. As far as why the Heat might trade him, well, they were already willing to do it during the offseason in order to get Dame. Perhaps they'd send him out in a three-team deal if it upgraded their roster and improved their odds of winning a championship. They did just come off a Finals appearance after all
he's young enough to fit with our core? so what? we're still not contenders and we got enough young players. Why would we give up our picks? just to get into the playoffs and lose first round? Those picks are more valuable. We'll need them down the line. Hero's a very good player, but he's not a superstar.
Herro is 23. You wouldn’t add him to make you a contender now, you’d add him to be a part of the young core.
I said I wouldn’t trade multiple FRPs for him. However, there was another poster who said he’s a net negative and I disagreed.
Let's say, hypothetically, the Heat call and offer Herro for Ja. Green, this years RFP, and filler. Not saying they would, obviously, but would you take that deal?
Depends on the asking price for Herro. I'd definitely part with one first rounder for him on that contract, two picks, it might depend on which ones. Three picks, almost certainly not.
That’s a Little rich for Herro; especially if the pick isn’t lotto protected. But we sure could use his shooting.
Tate(to third team)+Green Yes. Id even give them Tate and Holiday if they think those players could be helpful and maybe squeaking into the finals this year. Green+Dipo+Lawndale+Holiday+Tate+Brooklyn FRP for Herro and Robinson.

I think more likely it would be a three-team deal, but yes, if that was our part of it--I think I would probably pull the trigger.
First one I'm not keen on for either team. Second one however, I doubt they'd ever do, but would be an excellent back up for Alpi.
The team does have the entire Room Exception to offer .... so if it boils down to money, I don't think another team can offer more $$$. Would require a roster spot meaning someone has to go either traded or cut. I'd sure kick the tires on this kind of acquisition - it costs nothing but $$$ instead of all the other ideas where #1 picks are traded for a backup 5 which is a terrible use of assets.
He just likes the roster... I imagine bismack goes to a contender but man, he would get the minutes here and i would love to sign him
