Alperen Sengun Named Western Conference Player of the Week

The biggest Sengun supporters can’t express happiness about this awesome achievement considering the last 3 seasons. Instead continue to talk about the players’ detractor. Does ever get tiresome??

 

This is really awesome and really impressive. In fairness, I believe guys like Dream and Yao were already older than Alpi is now when they joined the team, but it's still a hell of a feat. I'm proud of the kid. He's really turning some heads around the league. It's been fun to watch him become the focal point of opposing defenses and watch how he's been adapting to that.

 

Sengun supporters are still getting **** from some. Just ask @Verbal Christ

For some Sengun fanatics, Alpi will always be a persecuted martyr. Any criticism (valid or not) is considered assault and battery against their pet player.

Not accurate. Jabari got All-rookie second team in 22-23 as did Tari, Jalen got all-rookie first team in 21-22.

Honestly generally speaking if ball doesn't move and it turns into a one man show you ain't going anywhere. Jokic realized it too so when others are hot he's taking less shots than usual and feeding them instead because 3>2. Harden is not shooting this season but feeding Kawhi and PG. I'd love Sengun to evolve into 10-12 fga 8-9 assists type of big if he could but unfortunately this team doesn't have its Murray and MPJ so he looks like center version of Harden on the court. Jabari is getting there but he isn't there yet and we need to find our Murray. People can say that we don't have to become Nuggets to be succesful but we are 1 piece away from being Nuggets lite so why not make moves to be like them?

 

Aye, probably not the best thing for the cognitive dissonance to remind people that most of the rest of the league/fandom sees our players in a more positive light than the typical CFer haha.
