Yao's 4 inches taller than KP, KP's 7'2, Yao was 7'6. It's like people don't realise that even Wemby's shorter than Yao is, whilst being about half his weight haha.
I do not think they can handle full turkish slangs here, unless they love Ricky Gervais smh. Otherwise I will be tagged as misogynist, fascist and mayyybe racist.
Haha, I knew how tall they were. My math's just gone to doodoo. To be fair, Yao has relatively short arms so he doesn't look as freakish as Wemby.
I'd actually say Yao was just more typical proportioned, whereas Wemby looks stretched out. Yao was built like a regular athletic person, but massive. Wemby looks like he's freakishly long but like he'd snap in a strong breeze. That's why Yao could stand up to prime Shaq, and Wemby would likely be in the 6th row after the first poster haha
How were you able to limit Damian Lillard tonight?: Ime Udoka: “We really put an emphasis on pick-up point. High pick-up point with him. Not let him get comfortable. Threw some bigger bodies at him, and a big piece was Alperen. He was extremely high on him in the pick and roll… … Our big thing was to limit him after his 39 point performance against us last time and Alperen was a big piece of (limiting) that. “Not worth the effort…” Starting C on a top 5 defense in the NBA, with 33 games worth of data.
You realise that people as they age don't stand quite as tall right? I think the Alpi height thing is beyond silly at this point, but this is daft haha.
Sadly, I do realize, I think I might have been 6'7 at some point, now maybe 6'6 on a good day! Anyway, here is another angle of Alpi casually doing a no-look pass between two DPOY caliber players in crunchtime. Props to Bari for sinking it, too! Nothing but net.
Seeing Giannis struggling to defend Alp is priceless. As Ryan Hollins commented :"Giannis had no chance".
Sengun's awkward timing in the post just throws everyone off because they don't know when to go up and contest. I don't know how he manages to throw up these hooks while off balance and sometimes in the middle of a spin. I think that's why he draws so many fouls, it's really hard for defenders to time his shots. Even the shots he missed this game was because he was missing layups, not because the defense was putting much pressure.
Yeah this is a good point. We've seen Sengun struggle against certain defenders but this was not one of those times. He was cooking his defenders and getting great looks but just blowing easy shots. Like 5 or 6 different "everything but the finish" moments for him. Should have been an easy 30 point game for him.
Alp struggling to defend a freak, an MVP is expected. Giannis having no chance to defend third year player-once considered undersize/unathletic-is extraordinary. Giannis is a strong guy but Alp is more crafty. In two years time it will be a cat and mouse game.
