I’m really falling in love with Legette. Fits all the boxes I want in our next receiver to complete the core (Nico/Dell). I feel like Brian Thomas would be a good consolation, but I also feel like he is basically a Nico clone.

now, I would rather a Nico-type receiver than another Dell. I feel like we need two big targets on the outside and a shifty slot guy. If one of the big targets can be a Will fuller over the top guy, then that’s just the perfect core.

I also have been wanting a WR in the first to grow with CJ, Nico and Tank. With Cleveland’s stupid Joe Flacco run I’m on the fence on whether to take one in the first or wait until the 2nd. There’s ~10 great ones. It seems hard to believe all will be gone by pick ~50. Probably depends on the overall board.

I like JC Latham, Cooper DeJean and Leonard Taylor that seem to be consensus mid-late first rounders.

Love DeJohn as a safety who can play CB. He should be there when the Texans pick.

I've got Taylor in the 2nd.

Should we choose WR in the 1st and Van Pran (C) is there in the second, would we consider taking him and leaving Scruggs at guard where he's actually played more?

Give me a healthy Patterson and Green, I will spend the draft capital filling other holes.

I’m generally there too on the interior but an OT should be drafted to develop.

I'm just assuming OL health is impossible to maintain.

They've got depth, but need to draft a developmental OT somewhere in this draft.

My personal favorite PFF simulations (not making a case for realism; and its too early anyway). But I like getting WR, Nickle Corner/FS, OT, and RB in the first 4 picks. Would prefer to spend FA $ on Defense.

Caserio doesn’t seem to mind injuries as much and would potentially be getting the best back in the class in the 3rd or 4th round.

Team health goes in spurts. Good one yr, bad the next. I tend to think we'll be fine. The previous two yrs we were fine health wise.

I would draft a WR in rnd 1 or trade back into rnd 2 and pickup more picks. But also, it depends on FA too.

Texans need WR, TE, RB, DL, C

Wow, I didn't realize how big Xavier Legette was.

    6'3 230 LBS? && he's suppose to have 4.3-4.4 speed?

Cooper DeJean is a stud. Could play both CB/S.

Both, you're only looking to fill one hole with 3 guys. The Texans have ben incredibly unlucky with injuries to the OL this year.

True, but even when healthy Kenyon Green stinks. He looks like he doesnt belong in the NFL and could be easily upgraded and chalked up to a miss. It happens. He is really REALLY bad dude. Patterson was a little better, but if I could find a top notch veteran C to pair with CJ I'd do it in a heartbeat. This line can get better with intent vs hope.

Texas WR Adonai Mitchell will declare. Not sure if he’d be too similar to Nico but another WR that will likely go late-1st, early 2nd.

    When has Kenyon been healthy?

Ryans really likes Patterson as a center. I could see Scruggs at LG and Patterson at C.

I guess we'll just agree to disagree on Kenyon. I hope he pans out and shows something soon. Organic growth is romantic I get it, but if we can upgrade we should vs being reactive next year. Id love to upgrade at C to add to Laremy/Tytus/Shaq/Juice and allow Patterson and Green to come off the bench and back up. That would probably be the most ideal setup for me.
