Bruno over Sengun (and the articles that come along with it) and the resources allocated to Sengun vs KPJ are irrefutable proof of how inept the fo was the previous two years. It has nothing to do with being a sof. It was just bad! And that doesn't stop anyone from enjoying Rockets winning and Sengun balling. But it happened because they lucked into ime. The fo can be credited for taking the opportunity to sign Ime, FVV and Brooks. But even at that point they were thinking giving minutes to Lopez would be a better idea. I am almost certain that Ime discovered how good sengun was after the lopez trade when the season started. FO was still not seeing Sengun as a potential star. Once Ime saw it, he opened up the way for his growth. Sengun's growth over the summer is purely his own effort and success. This further shows how bad the fo was. They are bad at evaluating talent and they are also bad at developing talent. Although they though they should prioritize developing green and kpj, they were simply terrible at it. Just giving minutes with an awful coach doesn't help a player develop. But their being bad at developing does not justify what they did with Sengun. They were bad at both. Again it is not just a giving minutes thing, so it is not the same with Cam. They are doing things properly with Cam, I am sure he is developing because there is proper coaching. Sengun was forced into a defensive scheme and then coach complained about his defense regularly without making any adjustments and without holding any guard accountable. That is not what they are doing with Cam. Also Sengun had a very mature game when he came into the league and was one of the best players in the team, Cam is nowhere near that level. Just report and ignore him, like you would have done if he was not a sof. Edit: yes, it is time to move on. But having a different opinion on this doesn't make anyone a crazy only fan.

I like that the front office did everything to not revolve around Alpi but unexplained outside forces pushed back. The best legends happen that way. I think at this point a couple of things are safe to agree on: The claim that the Rockets could not have a good defense overall with Sengun at the Center position has always been wrong. Ime and Alpi have already proven that this season. The Rockets win more games with Sengun as a centerpiece of the offense (and a few good veterans added) than with running ISO through Jalen Green and KPJ at the guard positions. Is there anyone left who disagrees with these two statements?

This 100 %. There are several huge differences between Sengun and Lin and most of their respective fans. First of all, Lin was never that good. Secondly, I was here when the Lin fans went nuts. They were significantly crazier than all but maybe a couple Turkish Alpi fans. Most Alpi fans are already Rockets fans. I would draw the line where people want Sengun to be traded to another team - those people aren't Rockets fans. But that's literally one or two people. Thirdly, it will become more and more ridiculous to talk about "SOF" the more Alpi will cement his status as the best player on the team, the Rockets's franchise player. Because he is instrumental to the team winning already, and that will only continue to be so. And if you are a Rockets fan, how can you care about the team winning, while at the same time ridiculing the idea of being supportive of the team's best player? Do you think any Warriors fans are ridiculing other fans for being a "Curry only fan"? Or Denver fans ridiculing other fans for being a "Jokic only fan"? Or Bucks fans ridiculing other fans for being a "Giannis only fan"? I don't think so. Because they know that as that player goes, their team goes. The haters of fans of the team's best player are the divisive ones, not the supporters of the team's best player.
@napalm06 and @Os Trigonum , I like you guys as posters. But you (and some others) need to let go of the SOF stuff. Unlike Lin, Sengun is actually blossoming into a star. We should unite and embrace it. There are some extremists here. Just put them on Ignore and you'll be a lot happier cheering for the Sengun-led Rockets. I know some people are hesitant to jump all in because they fear that if Sengun is really good, the Sengun extremists will be insufferable. The simplest solution is to IGNORE them and embrace the real Rockets fans who love our best player.
I like @napalm06 as a poster and I never thought he had a thing with sof. @Os Trigonum is whole another level.
No kidding. Nowadays I feel like all Os does is ridicule the supposed SOFs non-stop. **** gets boring fast.
Being on that level, and still complaining about other people. That's a high level. Most SOF's are only "guilty" of seeing what others couldn't see in the past 2 years.
Lol is this a coming out party for non-only Sengun Fans? I am not a person who is proud of his nationality, I see myself as a world person. However once you start generalizing people based on nationality or anything other than their own person, it is just gross thats all. Ignore the individuals that bother you and enjoy Rox Basketball.
I love @Os Trigonum like a brother, and he is definitely one of the smartest and most educated posters on the board. But continuing that "SOF" schtick is a dead end, as I posted above. Unless Sengun gets traded, he will be our franchise player (or one of our franchise players) for the next decade.
