Gotta get to some meaningful playoff games before we figure out if he's just an all star or is a superstar imho . . . but yeah I think we might have a real superstar. You can tell that he has heart in addition to the skill set. Hopefully we make the playoffs this year and get to see it.

You don’t think sengun should get the ball when he has his man sealed deep in the post?

72.8% from the FT and climbing quickly.

He can be an all-star without the jumper, but If the shot ever completely unlocks, the league is in for pain.

Alperen saw that the score is close and just went nuclear in the 3rd. My theory is that he averages more points in Ls because he plays more aggressive when he realizes that the team is not performing well. When everyone is hitting his shots he takes it easy.

What I really like is that he has a jumper now. Just not the range behind the three point line. But he is deadly in the mid range. He has really improved this part of his game. Which makes me think he will get the range behind the three point line.

In previous seasons when he had a shot around the free throw line he did this strange one handed push shot. But now it actually looks like a real set shot (he uses both hands). He even takes fade away and step back shots. He is really comfertable in the mid range. He is a threat for a mid range jumper (either the flamingo or a normal set shot). This opens up his driving game. He is already unguardable from anywhere inside the three point line.

On top of that his free throw shots are jsut amazing. I am loving the development of shengun. It seems that Sullivan is really improving his shot. The range will come. And even if it doesn't come he is stll amazing on offense, his midrange jumper opens up his entire game.

In an interview recently, he said he hired a Serbian shooting coach in the summer and worked on his shot constantly. He was also shooting them in August with the national team.

I think having this mindset is much more important than reaching short-term shooting goals.

The three point shot is a nice addition and could be very useful in certain situations/matchups but overall I hope he keeps his playstyle. Using him as a strech big would be the worst thing. Playing aggressive in the post, fouling out opposing bigs are his true strengths. I don't want him to hang around the perimeter all game.

Jokic does a very similar thing.

He had 1 shot at halftime of their game against Charlotte yesterday. It was a tied game.

It was a blowout in the second half when Jokic asserted himself a bit more.

It's frustrating having him in my fantasy team watching him be so passive and constantly looking to get teammates involved.

They definitely bring their players up a little differently in Europe than in the US.

At one point they probably want to have young ones to have fun and choose bball over other sports mainly football and baseball.

If 3pt comes (i think it will next year) he will turn into a 26-27 ppg type of player. Those are Jokic, AD numbers. I'm just glad that he is more than just a post scorer now. That flamingo fadeaway and other midrange shot has been very reliable so far. I want him to shoot more often when he is being guarded by good defenders with long wingspan. If you can't get close to the rim shoot over them.

Looks like Jackson has fully come around from being a Sengun sceptic.

Anyone still missing aboard the Sengun train?

Well, no, but because we initiate a lot of sets with him around the three point line anyway to set screens and make passes, it would be good if he can hit those shots when opposing players don't take his shooting seriously. That will also help open the lane for him to drive, and he is a formidable threat in that regard.

He needs to shoot them without hesitation.
