I am being tasked with finding entertainment for young kids for an upcoming 5 day trip to Houston to see family this upcoming Christmas.

These kids have never been to Houston and I am planning on taking them to a Rockets game, NASA, and the Science Museum. But are there any other places in Houston I should consider as a do not miss for them? The places should appeal to all ages (5-75).

The Children's Museum was cool years ago, and they've expanded it since I was there last

Galveston does some stuff around Christmastime

If they are here Dec 9th, check out German Festival in Tomball. It's a blast.

We did Space Center, Science Center, Rockets game, Galleria, Discovey Green and today the Children’s museum. Kids liked the children museum the best.

Kind of underwhelming for the kids. My wife and I went in 2014 last and were able to do the tram etc but the line was 1.5+ hours when we went Wednesday.

On the positive side, it was free and otherwise unrestricted since we’re also members of the Maryland Science center and they have reciprocity agreements.
