    I've said positive things about him before.

    Only when they're warranted though.

    So that's why they're so infrequent.

    It's not just a coincidence he was much better in the second half when the ball was out of his hands around the perimeter and not asking him to think and initiate offense for the most part.

    There were so many times in the first half he dribbled into the pocket of his teammate instead of just passing them the ball - effectively ruining the offensive possession. Sengun's offensive foul on Oubre which was his 3rd in the first half - was a direct result of this. He had perfect position and Jalen could've passed him the ball from the perimeter, instead he dribbled right next to Sengun and forced him to go out towards the perimeter and then try to drive it - resulting in the offensive foul.

    Plus, his horrendous defense wasn't as noticeable in the second half.

    Only negative thing I can remember about that second half for Jalen was literally the play with the game on the line... which he was asked to think about what to do...

    A poster mentioned recently he's much better when he doesn't have any thought he just looks to shoot. Again, no coincidence the shots that fall are the last second heaves typically from him and today the catch and shoots with no fake, jab step etc etc.

    I have no idea why he didn't raise up there at the end. Horrible decision to give it to Landale.
