Re-read my post and the guy who I'm quoting and responding to. I don't believe any of that stuff I wrote, I'm laying out the stance of what many anti-Sengun rockets fans believe, including a few posters here. This is why the "franchise player" label matters, there's been hundreds of pages and thousands of posts centered around that argument.

People might misunderstand your description as your thoughts. Anyway.

I guess the biggest mistake is looking for "franchise player" rather than targeting championship through combined talent. I have seen single talents to bring championships (Hakeem, Jokic) or multiple stars (Magic Kareem, Worthy) or combined talents (Thomas,Laimbeer, Dumars-Bird,Parish,McHale).

The best way for Rockets is to look for combined talents to bring the ring but not as Big-3 but through Big-4 (JGreen,Alp,Bari,Tari) or even Big-5 (4 plus '23 pick).

I just shared a list showing Under 22-NBA most rebound grabbed. In that list there is another stat to be analyzed:

    https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/nba-most-rebounds-by-nba-player-under-age-22

If you compare Alp and Giannis you will see that Alp is a better player in this level. He is better at ppg, rpg, apg and it is not a small size sample, 257 games of Giannis and projected 220 games of Alp. Just add him JGreen, Bari,Tari and '23 pick and they will be contestant against OKC in WCF in three years time.

    The future is bright.

Will Alpi wear an Ataturk t-shirt tonight?

I don't quite understand the controversy. Do the Saudis consider Ataturk anti-Islam?

Turkey is a secular country. Citizens might have a religious belief but the state's religion is justice. You can't see people vowing over "Abrahamic" books in courts/parliament. It is against turkish secularism.

Ataturk made Turkey secular and also executed Akhundzadeh Mirza Fethali's plan to use modified Latin Alphabet instead of irrelevant Arabic ones (Turkish language has 8 wovels where Arabic has only 3). So Arabs are not very keen on Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.

It basically boils down to them coaches who praise Alperen but do not vote for him.....hopefully they do this time around.

I don't know if he will be allstar or not, but l am sure and everybody in this franchise understands that he is the #1 kn this team, but he is unlucky that other young players do not match his basketball iq, he has to play with one of the laziest SG , Jalen. Put better players around him and do not waste Alpi's years...He and Fred deserve better players for this high effort.
Jalen has no idea about what to do besides shooting and he is not efficient.. l dont care how many points he scores, he gives harm in winning in the long run, we need a better SG that can make smart decisions and knows how to dribble...
