You forgot to CAPITALIZE a word in the title. "Is Coach Ime LOSING the locker room?" That's how you engage the AUDIENCE.
When Udoka coached the Celtics, they struggled big time and hit bottom. Then from mid-January onward, they had the best record in the NBA and went to the Finals. Before the season, I predicted the Rockets would hit their stride sometime in (probably late) January. I stand by this. IMO, it was inevitable there would be times during the season where things looked shaky. For example, the first couple of games and now. In the next 30 days, some things are going to shake out, this team will establish an identity and get hot. Guys are going to be traded, demoted and promoted. Just be patient.
The last coach had that "don't hurt me" look about him. This coach has that "how would you like me to hurt you" look.
if he is losing the locker room who ever has a problem needs to be traded and Ime has already shown he is willing to sit players not playing up to par so there should be a problem if these players want to win
According to my sources since Ime lost the locker room, the players are showering at home as we speak
No… put any coaches in the league where you got the roster where you have to play Jalen, Tate, Holiday and Jock for major minutes.
How players-only meetings keyed Celtics turnaround The Celtics met in the aftermath of their infamous collapse against the Chicago Bulls in November before leaving for a Florida road trip. Ime Udoka had originally planned a team dinner that became a players-only meeting before the coaches arrived. Many of the details remain undisclosed, aside from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski ominously declaring it not terribly productive — maybe not even beneficial. ESPN’s Zach Lowe soon quipped that Boston must lead the league in players-only meetings, and he wouldn’t be far off. What looked like a crisis moment for the Celtics early became a formula for their success. https://www.celticsblog.com/2022/4/...on-nba-jayson-tatum-jaylen-brown-marcus-smart
