Another 2-x stat for green. Replace him for Holiday and you instantly get better defense and 3 point shooting. Maybe Green can be better leading the bench unit but like I said I feel like we’d of won 2-3 more games than we have if green wasn’t so ASS

Green actually looks like he's given up now tbh. That's the most frustrating thing about it all, he clearly has the talent, but his game is so confidence dictated that if he has none he might as well not put the jersey on. No chance anybody trades us anything worth **** for him right now, he either turns it around or he's probably out of the league at the end of his contract.
I'm not sure he is all that talented. His career has been entirely dependent on being faster and more athletic than everyone else. You could say he has physical talents but his basketball ability is non existent.
Bleh really doesn't know where to position himself when he's not scoring. Just does the bare minimum everywhere on the court. Everyone else lays their body on the line, gets physical, fights for position, tries for steals, tries for rebounds, hes kinda just there.
Simply not true when you look at his top games from last season. He literally posted 40+ points on over 60% shooting and 40% in 4 games (more than the average NBA role player does in a career) and another 12 30 pt games in the same season. Jalen when he's on is phenomenal, over 20 points in 58% of his games last season too. You can't deny the talent, he's just not doing anything with it.
I hope you're willing to part with a lot of picks, or another one of your youngsters. Aint no chance you're trading Jalen and getting anything near to that back unless he turns it around and makes it so you don't need to. He either works out here or becomes a min-contract bench warmer or out of the league when this contract's done.
I can't put my finger on but there is something going on with that kid outside basketball. He seems like he doesn't care any more
He looks like his confidence has completely gone tbh. I don't even think he wants them to pass to him right now, and he certainly doesn't want to shoot/score/dunk/be in the spotlight at all.
In our last 13 games Jalen Green has a positive +/- in 1 of them, and that was when we were playing the G league Mavs. He just doesn't seem to know how to function within an offense, and he doesn't do anything else if he's not scoring. He occasionally shows a little playmaking, but even that is sporadic at best. We have to try something else with him right now, he looks completely defeated.
A Apparently his defense is much improved though. Gone from a 0.5/10 to maybe a 2/10. We can hang our hat on that though.
yeah! I hope this is a military drill for him. Getting bottom rock before they build him better version of himself. I really hope they continue to work on him and will address his issues. In the long run, we need the flashy scorer Jalen if we want this group to be a contender. I would really like the youngsters to succeed as a group!
I'm not going to say the Rockets should trade him since he has no value whatsoever right now, but at this point, he shouldn't be starting.

In all honesty, with his facial expressions and body language tonight, I'm not sure he should be playing. Get his ass some therapy or some **** because his head is GONE right now.
Our roster is literally constructed to help him succeed. We have no other rotational two guard. Literally. And Jalen is losing minutes to Aaron Holiday. Sure we can look at things like FVV having the ball more or whatever but at the end of the day, if we need to pick and choose individual possessions which would have helped Jalen look better, then we’re already ****ed. Whatever is wrong with Jalen, he needs to fix it soon. Or ALL of us will lose hope. I’m so upset at him right now. Everything else is falling into place, our guys are killing it. I am not really worried, I mean players come and go.......the thing is it coincides with higher expectations from fans and owner. The 2 Guard position is still a dime in a dozen position .......so no worries.
I mean, you’re correct, of course. But I WANT him to succeed. A lot of us do. He was the only fun we had for like two years so the fact that he’s sucking right now is just sad. If we move on we move on but I’d always us grow our hometown boys
