the two-prong attack, by the WH and the Federal Reserve, includes

1. the WH effecting the Congress to approve strategic fiscal spending to stimulate demand for goods / services, towards creating jobs
   • Inflation Reduction Act, Infrastructure Act, Chip Act, Build Back Better Act, etc.
2. the Federal Reserve using the monetary tool box to fine-tune the $ supply, via discount rate changes and open-market operations, towards effecting a target inflation rate of 2% by 2026

Through most of it, US employment remained solid—often at half-century record highs; the Fed's PCE data suggested that inflation may have peaked in Jun 2022. It has continued to decline since then.
