Does it really matter? What does he play like 6 minutes a game?

Rafael Stone, Eli Witus messed up on Jock Landale.

At least Fred VanVleet, Dillon Brooks, Jeff Green, Aaron Holiday worked out well, plus being Veterans for the Young Players. ESPN Analyst Tim McMahon and Ime Udoka did say the Rockets needed Veterans, it worked.

During the Trade Deadline hopefully the Rockets find a Tall Athletic Center Shot Blocker Long Arms that is quick to defend Point Guards.

It only matters because we wasted 8 million on him. That money could’ve gone to an actual backup.

apparently “ used him as a dance floor “ when they were in college in Geelong Australia lol.

Sam Newman is a AFL legend and one of the most reconsiged media personalties in AFL.

apparently Jock caused injuries that broke the lads bad and derailed his AFL career.

just seems like a money grab

Interesting but if Jock really unintentionally injured him then it is a far cry from just a money grab.....ruh oh.

    Appreciate the bit.

Aside from Alpi, Bari and the two rookies playing well, my biggest takeaway from last night's game was how truly clueless Landale looked.

Even as bad as he'd been up to this point, last night getting a full quarter-plus against third stringers, this was his chance to live up to the promise he had coming into this season. And yet he looked like the worst player on the floor.

I'm beginning to think that playoff run last year was an anomaly and this is just who this guy is. If so, thank god for the flexible contract. And if Stone makes only one move before the trade deadline, it has to be backup center. I love Uncle Jeff, but he's not a 5. And Boban's your No. 3 center at best. Landale looks destined to play professionally back in Australia, unfortunately.

Udoka intentionally played him long minutes in a blow out to see how he can play. My bet is that he is going to sit at the end of the bench from now on.

Uncle Jeff is much better. And Boban should get some backup PT.

The "he is still hurt" excuse has lost all relevance also.

I would stand on the leash that keeps him from going into the game.

I didn’t mind what I saw of him last year, and he looked ok playing for Australia before getting hurt.

But my lord, he is awful out there. Looks lost on both sides of the court, stone hands, can’t finish, slow movements.

The Knicks just added G-leaguer Dmytro Skapintsev to their bench. Wingspan 7'6.25. Standing reach 9'4.25. Serviceable size and rebounding package, though a terrible FT shooter (40%). Maybe he'll get some run with injuries the Knicks face (Jericho Sims and Mitchell Robinson out).

In a perfect world, we could convince the Knicks to take Landale. We can always dream. Right?

This does point out that players with size can be found at the G-league level.

Anything might be better than what Landale is doing at the moment. I keep thinking that things will slow down for him and he'll get better. But I think his play was buoyed by Chris Paul, who regularly compliments big guys and makes them look better.

Might be the worst nba player in the league right now. He can’t do anything at an NBA level. He’s just salary filler for any trade.

I was cutting him some slack because of injury and concussion but wow he has no touch…he’s decent at getting to right spot but can’t hit shots and is getting murdered on rebounds. Isn’t his contract NG each year? Trade or cut. Only play to keep Green healthy. Gotta find a solid backup for Alpi that isn’t 38 years old.
