In 60 less games, the Rockets defense has held opponents under 100 points more times than last year.

    The coaching has been a major improvement in a lot of ways, but the defense has been awesome.

    Holding opponents under 100 points:

    2022-2023 - 6 times in 82 games
    2023-2024 - 7 times in 22 games

    The coaching staff, new additions to the roster, and the continued growth of the young players have made the Rockets a tough opponent each night on the court.

    last year we sucked but we were hardly in any games. many times last night i said "man i just hope we're competitive tonight".

    Man we really thought when Hollins was brought in to coach defense last year everything was going to be great? we were so hyped. lol
