I think they did not have a plan going forward, what to fook up when there was no real plan to fook it up.....

    • Best player available my butt.......that is having no plan to go with whatever player the media ranked best without giving it a much deeper thought.

    • For example think about what qualities would make a future leader, what skillset would one begin rebuilding with....

    • Instead just blatant speed and high jumping......

I mean they took guy with 2nd pick, got to the training camp and decided to give keys to the team to the guy cut from the cavaliers come on man. They tried to give max to the Oladipo. I think Udoka and unexpected rise from Sengun covered A LOT OF wrongs from the FO standpoint. Imagine if Alpi got depressed from the Silas era and requested a trade which he most certainly could do if bum like KJ could

WARNING: This may offend hipsters, leftists, emos, men or women and boys or girls with gender issues or some degree of gender dysphoria, the list goes on.

If Jalen were to shave his hair, remove his nail polish, stop the tattoo obsession and reapply all that superficially focused wasted energy to developing his skills . . . . He just might have what it takes to succeed.

Oh, and also get a speech coach and a mentor who can get the baby speech flushed out of him and provide an example of an adult who walks and speaks with maturity and confidence, I believe we would see a much better product on the court.

    Absolutely.
Most fans, especially native or lets say American fans believe that player with Athleticism is a good player..
Nope..this is not True.. basketball is not a athletism event, it is a sport that needs fundamentals, basketball iq, vision and some other competencies.
You dont need to jump jump jump or dunk dunk all time to be a player.
Every athletic young kid , college boy will not be T-Mac or Jordan or LBJ.
Athleticism is an advantage but without fundamental or having basketball iq, it means nothing.
G league can be equal to Europe's third or fourth division leagues at best, no real players play there.
Looking at g league stats and drafting someone at #2 is not logical.
I was never high about Jalen, but always high about Sengun.
Because he was the MVP in a real league and facing real competition.
I am glad that we did not lose our best player, Alperen ,under a Mobbing he faced by Silas.
He was made the scapegoat by him...
    In sum;
We have probably one of the most talented center of NBA future, in Sengun. He will be the heir to Jokic.
Just find the pieces around him and take our team to where it belongs, championship

The guy from the Cavaliers and making him Starting Point Guard came out of nowhere, I did not see that coming....

You are not supposed to develop a knucklehead when you already have other players to develop....

I detect a feel good story about Stone wanting to raise a Basketball orphan, lol.....utter failure.

But actually fit Stone's previous type of prey - young, athletic, talented kid with lots of issues and holes in his game.....
a foster son for posh lawyer Rafael and Felicia.

rather roll with Craig Porter Junior...

Especially when he cannot even use his athleticism half of the time, jumping into bodies and all....getting stripped and blocked all over the place in the 4th.

His dad didn't want him here because of KPJ (which who could blame him).

lets be real he can't play basketball and didn't learn it for 3 years. he has tools but he has no idea how to use them and can't adapt when thrown out of comfort zone. the only things that makes him look great is when his shot is falling because he attempts ridicolous **** and has athleticism to get the shot off. but once you don't have that he is very average. Most of the time he isn't even pushing the fast breaks. **** mj or Kobe comparisons, compare him to 2nd year of Ja, Ant, Tmac etc. He is light years behind this caliber too

Average is a good word for Jalen but Mediocre is the right word and His drives to the basket are dismal. He has the talent of a low level high school player when attacking the rim. It's downright pathetic.

The fact that you use that term, and use it as an insult, says all I need to know about you, bigot.

Seems like Jalen doesn't feel comfortable with his position. I don't know what exactly is going on but in some ways he regressed and in some ways he slowed down. His finishing under the basket is still atrocious, his handles aren't the best and now his shots haven't fallen. I still hope he turns it around after the All Star Game, but really this is his last year of getting that chance.

    Right when Cade dropped 43...

3rd round pick = picking strippers.

Thats nonsense, you gonna sit there and act like Giannis and Victor aren't complete athletic freaks. Hell Giannis could barely play basketball when he got drafted, even now hes not that skilled because he can take 2 steps and dunk from 3 point line

I don't think he regressed, just no real improvement on offense. He just took more shots last year so his counting stats were up, but in terms of efficiency he's pretty much at where he was at his rookie season.
