I think so too, I’m high on Jabari. We just gotta be patient with him, but he’s progressing nicely.

 

Anyone who expects this years team to win a ship is on crack.

 

He played 3 mins in the 4th quarter

 

Sengun has to be better if he wants to be a starting center on a contender but the reasons why is singled out more than him should be obvious for anyone who takes off their Jalen colored glasses.

Sengun almost never dissapears on the court
Sengun is playing good defense for the most part against good players
Sengun has shown actual improvement
Sengun wasnt the number two overall pick
Sengun has over 1000 less minutes than Jalen in their careers
Sengun has built up good will because of his growth and past performances


If Sengun starts looking like a Jalen Green type prospect folks will complain about him too.

 

I don't even get the Jalen hate. The dude isn't Jordan Poole, he doesn't have any ego, doesn't take the shine away from others, doesn't get mad or pout when he is benched. He also isn't overpaid yet.

I don't defend Jalen when he is playing bad but when he has a good game you losers still somehow blame or b**** about him that's where I draw the line. 7 Asta and 50% from 3 and all you can do is b**** about him? Lol wtf.

 

And that was 3 mins too many.

 

Watching UH/UT/Baylor guards play defense may have spoiled some people, and shifted their expectations of what tolerable perimeter defense and switching should look like.

 

Yeah and that's Ime's mistake. Obv shouldnt have played Tate and Holiday who both scored 0.

 

Watching the middle schoolers I coach has clearly spoiled me too

 

So don't play the dude who had 16/2/7 and 50% from 3? Dumb.

 

He can’t play because he won’t defend. He can’t defend the better players. And he’s not rotating to help off the guy he is guarding. So he can’t stay in during the 4th quarter. We’ve seen this repeatedly. I’m not breaking news here and it’s extremely clear from Udoka’s rotations

 

Have you considered that others may have a different perspective on Greens performance than you? Maybe the fact that last 4 games he has played badly so his poor plays get magnified? Cannot be said the same about any other Rockets players on this front when it comes to consistency.

The fact that the Rockets had a chance to close the gap but him not hustling on an easy rebound with a rare Bucks miss could have hurt the Rockets momentum? Because that is what I was solely commenting on but you feel the need to aggregate all the comments from others and draw a single conclusion to fit your narrative for some reason.

 

You've never seen comments such as "he's not an NBA player " recently or my favorite " Eason should start over him at SG" ?

 

So the other guys wee such amazing defenders how come Lillard went off for 39 and we lost this game? According to you the bad defender was gone right?

Some people are so dumb asking if Jalen didn't score in the 4rth when the dude only played 3 mins in the 4rth.

 

That first one is wild...the second one I dont agree with but its not egregious. If they mean that permanently than thats a bigger issue.

 

He didn't hustle on 1 play but the Rox got out rebounded by 17 clearly he wasn't the only one not hustling all the time. And unlike other Jalen actually had a good game, nobody is perfect even if Jalen didn't hustle on that singular play he had an efficient game and 7 Asts which showed he clearly put in effort.

If you are gonna single Jalen out then you should call out other players first before you reach Jalen. Just common sense.
