He also did well against Giannis - no idea why he and Jalen got left on the bench for 10 minutes straight. Not a big deal.
Twitter ppl have been saying he can't pass since last week. You don't forget a skill that's impossible he is either thinking too much or doesn't think at all. It's mental but needs to get his **** together regardless. You can't turn the ball over twice in 20 seconds in exact same way. Even Jalen waits a possesion or two. I have no problem with one legged shot he took. Fvv gave him the ball but forgot to gtfo so Sengun wasted couple of seconds searching for a potential opening. He could have prepared better for that shot. We would've won it if he made both fts. If he doesn't become a .7 or higher ft shooter they will target him in playoffs. New ft routine looks promising tho. At least he is aware of that he sucks.
I think nobody ever said that clutch never talks about anyone else. It's just that he's more willing to post Sengun lowlights when the opportunity is presented, while he's yet to share a single Jabari lowlight so far. Does he have bias against Sengun? Yes. Is Jabari his favorite Rockets player? Yes. Is it his personal Twitter/X account, and can he post whatever the hell he wants? Yes. He has every right to have a favorite player on the team and post accordingly. So you don't have to pretend like Clutch is objective and unbiased all the time. It's okay to be biased.
wrong. there's plenty of crybabies that have been making that claim I don't need to pretend anything.
I'd like to see the claims of those crybabies because i haven't seen any. I know you don't need to pretend anything; that's why I don't understand why you pretend that way.
they're in the thread. you're more than welcome to find them yourself. it isn't that hard Here's one gift and one of the biggest crybabies @invocux folks choose what they want to see. which is another problem clearly here
Alpi has really improved his defense this year along with his physicality. He isn't scared to go right into the chest of bigger centers and he generally holds his own. His shot has maybe suffered a little recently from the wear of the extra minutes this season but overall I don't worry about him. I expect great things from him every game.
Kelly Iko has always known how good Alpi was defensively, and has always been very high on him. I guess that's why he published an "apology" to Alpi earlier this season.
Alpi battling with Barnes when it comes to best player of the 2021 draft...I think Alpi is the more generational talent between the two.
Honestly I have it as a complete toss-up right now between those two. Just depends on who improves more/faster. Alpi is younger so that's in his favor. I think Barnes has a slight edge on physical tools (although it's close). Team results are in Alpi's favor right now, but individual statistical performance probably slightly favors Barnes. Could go either way.
Good to see Jalen in the mix as well. I think people who are acting like he is already a surefire bust are wrong.
