I wish CJ had a receiver like Stefon Diggs.

The crazy thing is Allen has less help than Stroud when healthy. Allen has had some crazy turnovers but he also makes plays literally no other QB can make in the league.
Almost every advanced metric has Allen as the top or top 2-3 qb in the league, even with all the turnovers

Allen has the bills with the 3rd best offense, and it’s not like he has the niners weapons or anything. He does have a lot of turnovers, which keeps him from being number 1 but no way he’s below 2. Turnovers are also somewhat random

I agree that he makes plays that make him elite, and no QB can some of them but I dont think Allen has less help than Stroud, Stefon Diggs is soo much better than any WR in the Texans roster, the TE duo of Dawson Knox / Dalton Kincaid is better than Schultz / Jordan, the RBs, he had Singletary last year, and Bills didnt want him back. the Bills defense is a bit better than the Texans defense overall, the offensive line is pretty much the same.

I'd be interested to see your list of the plenty of QBs you'd take over Allen.

Their receiving core outside of Diggs is bad. Nico has been better than Diggs this year.
And no, Kincaid is a rookie Knox has been hurt and/or no show. Schultz has been better and Brevin has been a better back up. At best it’s a wash at TE.
But there is more talent and depth for the Texans at receiver/TE/RB-when healthy

I wouldnt say Nico has had a "better" year they are almost identical in seperation/cushion/clutch catch %'s and raw stats. Diggs is Josh Allens security blanket and enjoys more targets and catches, but is also double teamed more than Nico. Gabe Davis is no Tank Dell to take the pressure off of Diggs. If Stefon Diggs was here he would be the best WR in the NFL. Same can be said for various other high profile WRs. Mike Evans would feast here with CJ. Guys who just have a knack for getting open. Nico is still using his athleticism to create his opportunities and thats great. When he can apply the tactical side of the position to his benefit he will be a player that requires double teams as well.

I think there’s a counter to only having one go to like Allen and Mahomes. It’s predictable, they don’t have someone else to go to.
The fact they’re still making the plays they do speaks to their greatness.

I agree, but can only add that Travis Kelce and Stefon Diggs are tier 1 receiving options in the NFL. Nico is working his way there, but needs to add more than just athleticism to his bag. It will only get better as CJ and Nico further develop their chemistry. Tank on the other hand runs great routes and gets open by more than just linear bursts.

But this is the first good year of Nico, while Diggs has been an elite WR for a long time, its like comparing Stroud to Allen, Stroud has been better this year, but Allen still is ranked higher, because he has more year being an elite QB, just like Diggs has more years of being elite WR, with QBs like Case Keenum and Kirk Cousins too.
Brevin has been a no show, outside game vs Denver.

And I’ve brought this up before regarding Nico. In his 15 starts prior to this season (all he’s had) he has 70 receptions for 900 yds. He hasn’t been bad when healthy. That’s with below average QBs too

These guys I'd take for sure over him for the rest of their careers.
    Mahomes
    Hurts
    Lamar
    Burrow
    Stroud
    Herbert
    Lawrence

This year these guys are outplaying him.

    Brock Purdy
    Dak Prescott

If it wasn't for injuries I'd still take these two over him.

    Deshaun
    Rodgers

Maybe Tua if he doesn't get concussed.

Either way I can definitely say he's better than all these guys. Maybe I'll change my tune if he wins one but he's just too inconsistent. Maybe it's cuz I remember when he came to Houston in the playoffs as a rookie. Man he was awful that game and occasional he goes back to that level of awful,

I'd say no to Hurts, Herbert, Lawrence, Dak and Purdy. Definitely not Deshaun (he was garbage before he got hurt). Rodgers before he got hurt was declining but I'll say inconclusive on him. No way on Tua. He's worthless without Tyreek.

We can agree to disagree though as it's all a personal opinion

Not quite sure what you mean by outplaying Allen.
Allen has better numbers than Hurts, Burrow, Herbert, Lawrence, Mahomes and Lamar.
He has turnovers but his TDS lead the league.
His advanced stats grade out at the top too.
