Let's get out to a 40 point lead in the first half and then hold on when the worst weather and sloppiest conditions arrive.

I'm like a kid waiting for Santa when it comes to Texans games this year. They just can't get here soon enough.

Hope to see a play action deep pass TD to Nico early in the game.

I really hope Nico serves with a clean dish. No Sauce!

Weather looks like absolute garbage today with most of the game expected on the ground. Have both Pierce and Singletary and not sure which to plug in today.

Hunch is with Singletary’s catching, he might grab a few screens in this weather and match Pierce on the ground. Would appreciate others’ thoughts though.

Pierce struggles to get 3 YDS in good weather. I prefer Singletary. It's gonna be nasty being wet and cold, but at least our running backs aren't known for fumbles.

I'd go play action on the first snap and go deep to Nico.

True. But if he injured himself he’s pretty much done

He's pretty much done as is. He falls in the Trey Lance category

True. But same as Lance, the physical potential will get him a job. Injured takes that from him

I admittedly thought Wilson was going to be really good. Some team will give him a chance but I think he'll be out of the NFL within 3 years

I was wrong on him and Lance too. Wilson college tape showed all the traits of a new age QB. They might be able to turn it around, that type of arm and athleticism is hard to come by. Just goes to show that no matter the physical abilities the most important aspect of QB play is the mental aspect

I think he's mentally ruined. I think David Carr could have been a good QB here but we let him get killed. It's hard to recover from that. I never thought much of Lance. He can't read the field. Same with Justin Fields (although he's an insane athlete)

There were a lot of other reasons other than our offensive line that made Carr fail. Mostly on him.

Chase Daniels - forever back up. There's always a job for potentials.

Didn't know that. What were the issues? I know his dad tried to be heavily involved but that's all I heard

Always heard Carr didn’t work or prioritize football. Classic talent that doesn’t work hard situation

I remember hearing that he wasn't one of those players that was "first to arrive" and "last to leave", and didn't have great leadership skills. That said, the Texans didn't coach him up as needed, either.
