Ladies and gentlemen: We filled another 5 pages in record time. Only 30 more pages to go till Christmas! Sengun believes in you!
It's obvious trolling. I don't get why some of our "fans" don't appreciate Sengun. We got a steal in the draft and a kid that's going to be a really good player for a while. Disappointing that some people can't appreciate that. From the brief reading that I've done here it seems that Sengun and Green get a lot of hate which is absurd. What's crazy is it seems a lot of long time posters with high post counts do the trolling which isn't typical.
1) Not taking someone seriously ≠ hate. Sengunatics are worth that kind of energy. 2) Show me one undue "anti-Sengun" take that hasn't been whined about incessantly by Sengunatics. 3) I'm under no obligation to post anything to anyone else's liking so spare me the "whataboutisms". 4) It's SO much more fun mocking Sengunatic idiocy when they try to denigrate the rest the team to prop up their man-crush. So let's stop digressing from the discussion about last night's impressive win. If you don't like what I posted dispute it with facts instead of feelings. Otherwise keep it moving.
How about this? Siding with Silas against Sengun, citing his offense as 'known commodity', thinking Silas is a good coach, but the young guns are the problem is as bad as it gets. I mean we all have dumb takes, but you are not in a position to talk about the craziness of 'Sengunatics'. And as @Easy pointed out, there is a group of posters who gets stimulated by only 'sengunatics' bad takes. Just like Sengun did not have any room for mistake under Silas and SOH, sengunatics are not allowed bad takes, they are unbearable etc. right away. Funny how Sengunatics' takes turn about to be correct much more often than the haters' takes.
Why lie??? 1) Never "sided" with anyone but THE ROCKETS. Sengunatics are the ones who made "sides". 2) Silas came here after helming one of the most prolific offenses in NBA history.Do the homework. 3) NEVER said whether Silas was a good or bad coach and most certainly never said the young core are a "problem". Their youth and inexperience was. Plus the fact the organization was actively jockeying for draft position. It's really not that hard to grasp 4) NONE OF THAT WAS AN ANTI-SENGUN TAKE. In fact my actual words were "Sengun is a talented and gifted player, especially for a 19 year old rookie..." and "the onus is on him to continue to learn and grow within the offense and appreciate the value of team ball movement." If you think any of that is anti-anything, you're a moron and should stop reply to my posts. I swear you Sengunatics are a hilarious bunch.
lol you can't even respond to a guy, whom English is his second language, with a substantive stuff! Oh also using Jennifer Lawrence gif doesn't make you any cute...
Alpi outplayed Jokic? Since when is 17 and 10 better than 23 and 16 in basketball? I went to high school and college and I know 23 and 16 is better than 17 and 10.
Context matters. Sengun is on the winning team. Sengun put up an efficient game while jokic took 26 shots to make 23. We beat them at home when they are 9-0 while we have yet to win a game away. The guy who scores 100 pts taking 100 shots isn't outplaying the guy scoring 50 pts with 25 shots especially when said guy loses
Bother, statistical data available all over the place! Jokic scored 16 points against Sengun with only ~32% FG% Sengun scored 14 points against Jokic with ~55% FG% But eye test also says he outplayed him!
More than anything else, the defense saved us...the whole team was functioning like a well-oiled engine! More than anything else, I loved the interactions between the youngsters...they started to click and you can tell...a.k.a. eye test
