Meme players like Chet can't stop Alpi. The FT issue is clearly mental. Hopefully he figures it out but it's also possible that he remains inconsistent at the line for his career. You can be confident in general and still have mental blockades at certain things.

There is no answer for his footwork. You can have 9ft wingspan but if he can fake you out he will score on you. I have long arms therefore i'm the boss thing is stupid. Your size might be factor against ordinary 5's but not against the likes of Sabonis, Jokic, Sengun. They can make midgame adjustments and exploit your weaknesses. Chet's weakness is that he can't keep you away from the basket because he's not strong enough. If you are not capable of keeping a great post player out of restricted area you are ****.ed because when he gets there he'll not try shoot over you but around you. So he'll take away your strength. Lively and Mark Williams are both 7'+ with 7'7 wingspan but Sengun ran through them both. That's why i hate it when they advertise these tall guys like they are some superhumans. So he can block shots who gives a **** 2 blocks a game will not win his team a championship. I'd take 6'11 Chris Bosh over any of these 7'2 7'5 guys
Some of those shots Chet defended reasonably well and forced a hook shot over the contest, problem is Alpe never took any shots against him from beyond 5 feet.
