Lopez was the answer, but he’s old so we’d be better off finding a younger big so we don’t have this problem moving forward a few years. Udoka is a smart coach and I am confident we’ll make a move sooner or later. We just need someone to body up against these much stronger and taller athletes.

They don't get what they want though. They are high on Duren they see him as cornerstone which i disagree but still they like him a lot. Duren-Landale is robbing them blind I think Ivey and Green are similar caliber players so it's doesn't make sense for both teams imo. Ivey is a streaky shooter just like Green. Who we need is Devin Vassell, Desmond Bane type of reliable non streaky 3pt shooter. He doesn't have to be super fast super athletic he just needs to get the job done. A slightly better Malik Monk would be terrific.

so when the rockets were beating jokic and the nuggets prior to the last game, they were too small but they won. Got it.

Lively spent the entire game in foul trouble and one of the last reasons Dallas won

OP's reasoning is stupid as usual

So the Rockets weren't "too small" when they beat the Nuggets and Jokic twice in 10 days?

The Warriors won the ****ing NBA title with a smaller lineup than the current Rockets lineup.

6’11 PF and Center is not small.
Boxing out fundamentals is still an issue.

Rockets are at this point because teams were missing players. And you got these podcast analyst over hyping the rockets. As soon as these teams get their legs up under them, that good defense they were talking about will be shreded.

Strength is another one...they get bullied all the way under the basket at times

I want to thank those eight teams that were missing players for our eight wins. I agree we are to small and our true colors are about show. And it's not good.

    I disagree
Playing thought Sengun is the way to play. The problem is the others need to learn to cut, screen and get to their spot.
Yea, it would be nice having a rim running big to shot block, but they are far and few between

Jabari, for a high draft pick is a disappointment. With his length, he should be a defensive menace, but all he want to do is jack 3s non stop

Again, Sengun isn't Jokic. There are games he's made critical turnovers down the stretch, he needs to not be so careless and make the right play. That and the Rockets need a rim running big that'll speed the pace up. We are currently dead last in pace in the league

Sorry, I disagree. Look at the Laker game. Sengun is bigger than AD, Smith is way taller than Price, we outrebounded them, and we, generally speaking, played good defense.

Our problem is simple -- offense. We need more scoring, and we need it from the perimeter. Just getting bigger isn't always the answer.

Are you saying that we looked bigger because they were missing Fox and Murray?

    Lets see

    Smith, tall for his position
Brooks, avg to above avg height for his position.
Sengun, slightly undersized for his position.
    Green, Avg for his position.
FVV, slightly undersized for his position.

Exactly….when you play a team like the Lakers without Davis you kill them. The guy who mentioned the Champion Warriors forgot that they had the two best shooters on the planet and a thick bodied bully in Draymond Green and Looney and others who were tall. Sengun is not a tall physical center and Jabrari is a toothpick who gets manhandled backwards towards the basket by thicker stronger opponents.

AD has his way with everybody when healthy. Sengun is 20 years old and will probably be MIP this year.

Oh please. 27 points on 22 shots is not “having your way” with someone. We need to stop exaggerating like a bunch of prima donnas.
