Damn he's stepped up. I'll completely forget about Sauce if Stingley stays healthy. That was really my only knock on him is health, and if he can avoid the IR...then I'll eat crow and praise Caserio for that pick.

I'm hoping Kenyon Green get good after he gets healthy also.

Stingley is a ballhawk! Just needs to teach Pitre how to cover.

I would be happy if anyone would teach Pitre how to tackle. He's awful.

Crazy that the 2 bright spots from last year (Pierce, Pitre) have been disappointing this year.

As for Stingley, the biggest thing for him is going to be health. He's always been talented, and flashes on the field, he's just gotta stay healthy.

That second interception today was one of the best I've ever seen.

    Madden like.

Yea, this is what I was telling some friends right after the draft. If all things go well, stingley is an insane get and i generational talent at corner, the reward was higher than sauce who is going to be a stable and great corner as well. It’s cool to see Sting finally healthy and proving it. But like everyone here knows, he’s gotta stay healthy or it doesn’t matter. That will decide Caserio’s pick.

and omg that second interception today.. receivers don’t make that catch… wow.

I've always wondered how much of tacking has to do with the grip strength to hang onto anything. I know there are things you can do to put yourself in position, but in the end, you still have to hang on. Some times it appears that hitting hard replaces grip strength when you don't have it.

Stingley will probably be amped up for the Jets game vs Sauce

As is any position where their true value rarely shows up in the box score... its impressive that Stingley is actually doing both (impacting QB decisions with his coverage, but also actually accumulating stats with interceptions/deflections).

I really liked the Madden connection with him and the feature they did with his family during last week's thanksgiving games. You immediately know that he has a different perspective on how one's career can go (or be derailed), and you can see how that could influence one's determination/preparation for each game.

The knock on sauce is he doesn’t like to tackle. I can say I agree after seeing a few jets games myself.

Stingley ain’t afraid to hit a RB if he has too. If he stays healthy we got ourselves a top 3 CB and a major piece for our young nucleus.

I'm not insinuating Sting will be another Prime Time, but the way he laid off on that route looked like he was baiting Wilson into throwing that ball, knowing full well he could close, undercut and pick it off. That looked an awful lot like what we used to see from Deion. Impressive as hell.
