Tyrese 0, as in 0 turnovers, Haliburton.

Right now both teams are looking decent.

Pacers are looking less like a 're-build' team; and more like what their GM call: 're-tooling'. A quarter way in to the season Pacers (as of today) is 13th in defense and 10th in offense. The surprise is Carlisle unlocking the assist potential in Haliburton. At 12W-8L, they are 4th in the east.

Kings' goal is (at least) play in. No longer has to do the your turn / my turn between Fox and Haliburton. With Sabonis, they are impressively 4th in offense, but 25th in defense. Overall: 7th in the west. Their coaching situation was an upgrade from Walton to Mike Brown. Part of the hope for the Kings, is that they are competitive; even if play-in... that Sabonis will re-sign with them once his contract is up.

    2022-23 $18.5 MIL
    2023-24 $19.4 MIL
    2024-24 Unrestricted free agent

This contract value is actually decent for the Kings.

I guess the Kings made the smart call seeing that Fox and Halliburton weren't exactly complimentary pieces.

Yeah, it's all about fit. I still think Haliburton is a better overall player than Sabonis long term. But they needed to get rid of either Fox or Haliburton.
