You cannot troll if you are not a knowledgeable person, I give you that. You do not have to belittle Alperen Sengün to hype up your boy Jalen though.
Senguin can help the team succeed by coming off the bench with his marginal impact and allowing Jalen to work with Jabari. The Rockets can secure wins if both attempt 20 shots per game. Ime will be aware of the plan...sooner or later.
Thanks, but I don't really want to focus on unproven players in the team. Jalen is already an established star, and there is no need to hype him up. He needs to be properly understood, without getting insulted. I don't want him to drop 60 points on us because he keeps getting let down by the front office.
The problem when it comes to parody is that Poe's Law comes into effect when attempting to parody extremist groups. With the "Jalen is already an established star" bit, I'm relatively sure this whole shtick is a parody of Jalen Green fans....that was a little bit further than I think most real Jalen only fans would go. So, it took a while because the real Jalen fans say some wild things at times, but I think we can mark this down as parody.
I wouldn't give him that. Not at all. A mark of trolls is an absolute intentional ignorance doubled-down and brought forward under the banners of "just asking questions" and "I'm just trying to understand" and "hey, it's just a difference of opinion." This continuous cycle is often combined with a rapid series of goalpost movements. What's always puzzled me is why people do this--there have to be better ways of getting attention and the corresponding dopamine hits. As I tell my kids, it takes a lot more energy to be an ******* than it takes to be a decent person.
Problem is, Sengun has really benefited from Bari's help defense. Not to mention, we should totally be exploiting a middy handoff curl between Alp and Bari.
Parody is OK for one post, but it is difficult for a new member to engage in parody as there is no context for the larger board to gauge the level of parody vs trolling. To persist over multiple posts is something different than just parody.
Hahaha, imagine how helpless Shinjin would be there without Jabari... Maybe Jabari should leave him on the island in some games and make him understand that he can't do much without playing a savant next to him.
He will be fully unleashed once we trade Shenjun for Dereck Lively or Nic Claxton. Our opponents cannot score inside as we dominate with Jabari's mid-range jumpers and 3-pointers. Jalen is also unleashed and ready to shine again. We wait patiently for the right moment to strike.
There're not many things to like about him but one thing i like is that you know what you will get from him. Last season he was **** and i knew he was gonna be **** all season. I knew what i was gonna get from him. This season he looks better, he's fine from 3pt line and his midrange is working and i know it'll work for rest of the season. He's becoming a reliable spot up shooter and your go to guy if Sengun isn't doing well. Just give him the ball and watch him make that turnaround jumper. He is a fairly decent cutter as well so despite the fact he is ******* awful to watch when the ball is on his hands, when he's being used as a role player he's a very solid role player. If they continue using him like as a role player like Harrison Barnes he has a great future in this league.
Somewhat - I’d say he’s most benefitted from the improved perimeter D by everyone. that being said, I wasn’t proposing Jabari come off the bench - only that he gets 5 or so more minutes without Alpi on the floor.
LOL Alpi is the #1 option, and I don't see anyone on this team challenging that anytime soon. But it's also true that Bari should get more touches, and with the way Green is playing, Bari should take some of his.
I have advocated a top of the key or top of the arc handoff. But instead of doing it with the center, a guard may be even better. Jabari's go to shot, at least in college, is a one sideway dibble and rising up to shoot. If the defense switches, the smaller guy can't block him. If they don't switch and go under the screen, the big defender won't have time to get up there.
Someone tell this goofball to quit ball gawkin and to stay aware of his man. There were like 5 instances tonight of Jabari getting totally lost for no reason. Looks like he's getting very comfortable offensively, his efficiency jump from last season is enormous, and that's with him taking tougher shots too. Needs to increase his strength, awareness, and aggressiveness a bit on both ends. If he can, and I don't see why he couldn't, we have a solid starting PF.
