I don't know whether to give much credence to this writer or not because I personally know that members of the Bulls coaching staff WERE impressed with Currys performance. Still, is this true what they say about Griff? http://news.mysanantonio.com/story.cfm?xla=saen&xlb=1290&xlc=270419&xld=120 ------------------
Considering Eddie is a 19 year old kid, and led the summer league in blocks, and led the team in scoring, even though Colson would waste a half not passing him the ball, I don't think so. ------------------ "Larry Johnson, who spent the last 48 hours railing against the world, what a pathetic performance by this sad human being." -The one and only Bill Walton
Uh, I think this guy is just jealous cause we got better picks then san antonio did...j/k Nah, I think the Rocks would be pretty happy with his rebounding and blocks, but would like a little more consistent offense. ------------------
He did well in rebounds and block during the summer league. The guy has a great stroke on his shot and when he works more with that he will be automatic from outside. Dont expect him to have 16-17 points this year or even next. ------------------ "The girls danced, started fondling me, I got aroused, they performed oral sex," Ewing said. "I hung around a little bit and talked to them, then I left."

It's from a San Antonio paper . . . SA has a HORRIBLE Sports section, and its writers on basketball think anyone who's not a Spur is evil and sucks. FWIW, the Spurs' Tony Parker made the all-tourney team as well, and I think he could be the best PG they have. But that's for the NBA Dish forum. ------------------ "We must move forward, not backward, upward not forward, and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom." --Kang
This comment from the guy speaks volumes Griffin got down inside to rebound but there was no presence to dictate the offensive or defensive flow. Huh!? ------------------ What if I say to you that the universe is a three-legged horse, eh? What then? - Russell Hoban
This is not true at all. I've heard the Rockets were VERY pleased with Griffin and felt he was already ready to play on the NBA level defensively and as a rebounder. ------------------ Who's your buddy? Who's your pal? I am, aren't I?
TheFreak: Are you implying that you think Griffin was disappointing? Or are you just pointing out the (admitted) refusal of most of us to ever let outsiders criticize Rockets? Or both, of course . ------------------ Clutchcity.net... source for all your Rockets, Astros, political, music, humor, and Gordita news.
Not when the Rockets themselves are happy with Griffin no. He didn't say anything true, he just went on the assumption that the Rockets weren't happy with Griffin. ------------------ What if I say to you that the universe is a three-legged horse, eh? What then? - Russell Hoban
? Looks like one reporter's article to me. Anyways, Rogers' isn't known to be light on the Spurs anyways. Learn to separate. ------------------ It's a cool site, this clutchcity.net
Alas, it's true. Eddie was so disappointing, we're thinking of trading him to the Clips for a draft pick.
