Wrong about the topic? I must’ve missed when Putin and Zelensky signed a peace treaty that Biden negotiated? also I never said peace couldnt happen but that Biden himself couldn’t do it and that the only parties that could make peace were the actual combatants.
In the meantime Kyiv suffered one of its largest drone attacks. So yeah it really looks like Putin wants peace.
the peace deal was unconditional surrender of Japan. So if that’s your point you are right Putin would like unconditional surrender of Ukraine.
The Russian defenses to prevent Ukraine's attacks on Sevastopol's harbor that were in place prior to the massive hurricane-like storm, the worst storm in many years that battered Crimea with 90+ mph winds and huge waves. Image via satellite. Below, the same area after the storm. Today the defenses are almost entirely gone. Not just here, but also extensive damage to the Russian defenses all along the Crimean coast. Ukraine's military is likely to take advantage of the catastrophe. I certainly hope they do. War is hell. Any serious talks would involve recrimination, reparations, and repatriation, let alone what parts of land Russia manages to keep. Just saying you "want peace" is as good as sandbagging or a milkbone to throw in these forums that doesn't mean much other than a weeks worth of arguing.
A week? Breh, if it wasn't for the usual suspects, this thread would be buried on page 10. Americans dont care about Ukraine anymore.
