They are an injury to Lebron or Davis away from potentially even missing the playoffs.

Lebron is like 54 and Davis somehow always picks up some injuries.

    Screw the Lakers.

    We got this.

I agree with this, they are on the way down - as soon as our young guys grow in consistency these games are easy wins.

We'll see about the Wolves, the Thunder, Sactown and Mavericks.

Lakers always have been able to avoid rebuilding other than the time they had Clarkson, DLo, Ingram, Randle, Josh Hart and Lonzo.

Sure, but if they're healthy, the league will not have Lebron miss the playoffs. They did that once and it was a disaster for their ratings. Personally, I just want to get all these Lakers/Warriors game out of the way early in the season so we don't have to deal with the ref BS against those 2 teams later on when we can see who the playoff teams are.

Right now the league is pushing hard to manufacture new superstars. Players like Ja Morant, who you can't even breath on or gets fts was their golden boy until the gun thing. They're trying their hardest to push players like Chet and Wemby to the front since they know Lebron will retire soon.

Houston is indeed a better team, if Alpi avoids that 4th foul we probably cruise to a 6-8 point win.

Not necessarily the better team but the better coach.....

Very different teams though but yeah if Lebron was a few years younger, the Lakers are better, but he is already the best 39 year old of All time.

I remember him scoring 40 and 50 left and right when he was in the Bubble.

I like our chances against any team not in San Francisco/Los Angeles. And not because I don't think we can't hang but Lebron had *zero* fouls yesterday. Zero. None. Zilch. Nada. I counted 3 fouls on Tate from him on one possession alone. He hacked Brooks multiple times and didn't get called for it. I get people are frustrated with details but it's incredibly hard to win when Alperen Sengun goes to the bench in the 3rd with 4 fouls and Lebron has zero ****ing fouls.

Or if they give the And 1 to Alpi before giving one to LeBron, the outcome changes.

I agree we're the better team. Unfortunately they have the intrinsic rigged officiating benefit that we lack.

I think we’ll be more consistently competitive and we have more depth.

But we also don’t have a top 5 player of all time and one of the most talented bigs of the past 20 years. The Lakers are incredibly top heavy and AD is always unreliable health wise.

Nobody should expect the rockets to be a better team but at the same time nobody should be surprised if the rockets finish with a better record at this point.
