I don't think so! Im nit a Chet Truther but if you watch him, he just offers more on both sides of the ball.
Meh we were on a six game win streak and got hosed last game with sengun as our center. We are doing just fine.
And if you look at it, I was right to a certain degree. Denver surrounded Jokic with taller players in the frontcourt to hide his weaknesses; a 6'10 PF and a 6'10 SF. Jokic biggest flaw is his defense but because of his length and scoring ability, he's able to play more to his strengths. And if you look at their run last yr, they won because he was.making unbelievable shots. Shots I don't think Alpi has in his bag. BTW, im glad you're following me
We are doing good and I do think they got hosed by the refs! But think about if Sengun could have made those free throws or if he could've finished at the rim and didnt get his shot blocked. Or if Jalen would have completed his plays and not had a meltdown?
I’m a huge Chet fan, because of his skillset. But I wouldn’t take him over Alp, I wanted him because he fits perfectly with Alp and Green
Very likely because Chet comes off a 36 point and 10 rb night and shooting a very contested buzzer beater 3...... Alperen has yet to hit a buzzer beater 3 with a man on him. It is not even putting Chet over him, Chet's Game right now is very versatile and puts up better 3 point numbers and shotblocking numbers.... He is using his wingspan a lot more..... That is just objectively speaking....you can make cases for both of them but Holmgren plays like a PF and not like a Center, which makes him more mobile IMHO. Chet plays like a closer, while Alpe is a hybrid of a passer and a finisher but more like a passer.
Like I said in a different form, I too was wrong about Chet. I just didnt see it but dude is looking legit
Free throwS? He missed only one in crunch time and was 5/7 in the game. Still twisting your backside sooo provocatively around reality, you belly dancer you. Why don't you tell us about how many times he almost got murdered with no whistle instead?
He missed two in the 4th qtr, he turned the ball over once that I recall, he got his shot blocked at the rim by Zubac on an attempted dunk and then gave up a dunk on the other end to Zubac. Im not pinpointing his wrong doings and saying he was the only one. Like I will continue to say, he is a GOOD PLAYER, just not a franchise player. Franchise players takeover in the 4th.
Do not reply to this basketball ignorant person. This man's aim is to start a discussion and try to impose his own ideas on others.
Brother, don't be so sensitive about our beloved Ali G Sengun. Haters won't take away from his greatness.
He's obviously not there right now. Nobody here is saying he is currently on the same level as Jokic, Embiid, Curry, etc. This is the "breakout" year, people are starting to notice him, he's starting to have a big impact on winning. People are writing articles, they're talking about him on ESPN, etc. He won't get any MVP votes, nor should he. But he's showing that he's on track to get to that level.
I would like you to look at my comments on the forum. You will see how I try to protect Green and Dillon from the cruel comments of these basketball ignorant people. Of course, they do not need my protection, but some of the comments are very cruel.
Everybody has their own point of views, I can only present my view points and what I see. One thing I notice about SOFs is how sensitive they are. If you don't agree with them, they tend to let their emotions over take them. If you can not comprehend what I'm saying, you probably need to get with another SOF and ask for assistance. Once again, Sengun is good but not great. Thats just my assessment nor do I think henis a franchise player. And if that hurts you for me to say that, you need not be on Clutchfans but on a psychiatrists couch.
