I am a life long time Rocket fan, I have been a Rocket fan since I was a kid. I am not a troll nor would I join a basketball forum for the sake of discussing this topic. I went to this sub forum to read about daily americans thoughts on things and I got very surprised by the very one sided spam meanwhile more civilian palestinians have died due to bombings than what Russia has been able to kill civilian Ukrainians since their invasion. It's brutal. And no, I am not siding with Hamas, I hate Hamas and I consider the organization to be a terror group.
Try me brother, I am the brother of the "haha fan" and "bull me only" kid. If I would not have been a Rocket fan I would have been on reddit, not on freaking Clutchfans. I have watched old Rocket games dating back all the way to Hakeem's (Akeem) rookie year in 84-85 and I downloaded and watched all the 86 playoff games á Dream beating Lakers and then destroying the Celtic bigs (although the Rockets lost) which I must be alone of to do in Sweden. I can without a doubt claim that I am the biggest Rocket fan in Sweden. DAB.
I’m surprised you think it doesn’t matter. I assumed the point of circulating this video was to demonstrate that Hamas is using the hospital as a place to hold hostages for non-medical reasons. That is a war crime, and it is pretty important, if true. Certainly that would help Israel in its case to justify their offensive on the hospital. But now you’re saying it’s just a detail that doesn’t matter? Is that what the video shows? Because it shows Hamas using the hospital? By the way, I don’t have doubts that Hamas has used at least parts of the hospital for non-medical reasons. There is testimony from former staff indicating this: https://www.timesofisrael.com/uk-do...a-hospital-used-for-non-medical-purposes/amp/ I just don’t consider this video very compelling evidence for it in the current conflict.
How many legs does a dog have if you call his tail a leg? Four. Saying that a tail is a leg doesn't make it a leg. --Abraham Lincoln.
I have many seen the video you’re discussing so can’t comment on it but my understanding is that the staff of Al Shifa are basically hostages themselves. They are trying to run in a hospital in Gaza and as such can’t really cross Hamas.
The argument seems to be that Hamas making use of the hospital for medical treatment is sufficient to make the hospital “terrorist infrastructure”. Should injured hostages not have been taken to the hospital? Should hospital staff have rejected them? Such questions don’t matter.
No Yao wasn’t Muslim and he was great but not even close to the greatest the greatest rockets center is the reason this site exists
Well, that is at least an argument that addresses the question. Good. The tweet is quoting someone else. Original:
@AroundTheWorld @basso it’s the victimhood Olympics with no logic and intelligence @Space Ghost Like asking why can’t blind people become airplane pilots ?
'were the people who just murdered children, lite the elderly on fire, and raped women simply trying to get the hostages medical attention?' No. No they were not
It is entirely possible that hostages were ordered to be taken care of health-wise while held in Gaza. There are strategic reasons to do so, and it would be naive to think they’re doing this just out of the goodness of their hearts. I don’t think this women who said she went through hell when taken hostage by Hamas was lying regarding the care she and other hostages were given while being held captive in Gaza. https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/10/24/...ges-freed-lifshitz-cooper-intl-hnk/index.html
Many seem to forget that doctors are ethically required to treat people whose lives are in danger. That Palestinian doctors are treating hostages and even Hamas fighters shouldn’t be a surprise. Also given that Hamas has a the guns it’s not likely that doctors in Gaza have a choice whether they treat or help Hamas. I also think there is a lot of evidence that Hamas is using Al Shifa for their own non medical purposes. It strikes me as weird this narrative thst somehow the doctors and other medical personality at Al Shifa are to blame. Do people really expect them to just stop trying to treat people and resist Hamas?
