btw, thousands of insurrectionists had already breached the capital and the video you are showing is just as if not more likely law enforcement trying to escort people *out* of the capital. He can try, but he can't spin the facts. There was violence, they tried to stop the transfer of power, and people were threatened to be killed.

Hand picking little clips out of context from hours of time is his mission. Funny how he doesn't show all the violence, the 140 or cops being beat, the politicians hiding and running scared for their lives, or all the destruction being done inside. He was probably cheering along with Trump when it happened, and crying with Trump when the insurrection failed to keep Trump in power. Yeah, that's probably them leaving the place in that clip.

Wasn’t it well established that the people who got into the Capitol Building on Jan 6th included people going with the flow and peacefully walking in, and others who were violently trying to force their way in? Some fraction of them were nutty insurrectionists, but many (from their vantage point) probably just thought this was an acceptable, legitimate populist protest.

The way I understood it, there wasn’t sufficient security to keep them all out, and so they decided to let them through to reduce the chance of major violence breaking out.

There should have been full transparency on what happened. Hiding footage that seems inconvenient to a particular narrative is not how things should work in a democracy.
