Dream turns down latest Rockets' offer. Fegan said: 1) Dream wants to go to a team that wants him for what he currently can do, not what he did in the past. 2) Among the best chances for the team to reach the Finals is a requirement. 3) Compensation is also a factor. Well the Rockets are in a scre**d up position. If they S&T Hakeem where he wants (Toronto), then Toronto gives us garbage in return. If the Rockets don't send him to Toronto in a S&T, then Hakeem can say scr**w Houston and sign straight up with team. WELL I GUESS HIS TRUE COLORS ARE COMING OUT!! This is definately over, Feagan saying no more offers is it!!!! But with Shandon and Moochie, if Feagan spurns the Rockets - do we even still want to deal with him!!!! ------------------

I will be soooooooo pissed if we pay SA more than we offered Dream. I really mean it. Let's put it prespective, we give up the best player to wear a rockets uniform, who in my opinion is still one of the best defensive players in the league and best and the best rebounder on our team so we can sign a former jazz that has no offensive skills except for the break and in over-rated on defense. Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ------------------
YOU KNOW WHAT THE WORSE THING ABOUT THIS DEVELOPMENT is, that if Hakeem had no intentions of resigning with the Rockets (which I suspect) for less than 10 million a year, then he SCRE******D us twice!!!! Once by playing these games until every other major FA signed elsewhere (to try to get his annual 10 million), and NOW TO PROBABLY DICTATE WHERE HE WANTS TO S&T TO!!!! He has probably already told Toronto to only give us scarps, since it will hurt his new team roster next season. ------------------
Maybe Fegan said "no more offers" because everyone has already let it be known they have given their final offer. This would jibe with Popeye's take that the Rockets' offer was final. It's hard to imagine Fegan would say "too late" if CD called with David Robinson type money. ------------------
