The whole goal is to delay all the trials with hope he becomes president and (1) as president he can't be charged and (2) as president he can order his new DOJ to stop these prosecutions...

 

you can't tell me how he would have been able to overturn the election by his actions or attempted actions

there's a reason he wasn't charged with anything like that

he trespassed and disrupted an official proceeding, like many protesters before him have done

Actually it was all in the evidence. Delaying certification would allow congress to vote not by numbers but by state which would then allow Republicans to vote and reinstall Donald Trump.

The records show it was discussed ahead of time. They just needed to delay the vote long enough. Most of the people on the ground weren't aware of the larger scheme. They were pawns. But they were criminal pawns and deserve to be held accountable.

 

He knows this, but it goes against the retconning he's been busy with the last two years.

No joke. He never posts how his orange man wants to rip democracy apart by taking his vengeance out on anyone who isn't a Trump loyalist if he ever gets power again. He never questions why Trump only considers good Americans those that support him, and everyone else vermin, enemies, Marxcists, Fascists, Communists, thugs, or whatever other degrading adjective he can come up with.

You never see him question why Trump thinks that laws should only be enforced against anyone but him or his loyalists. You don't see him questioning the fact that Trump only believes fair elections are the ones he or his loyalists win, and anything else is stolen or crooked. You don't see him calling out all the hate spewing every time Trump gives a speech either.

Just like the orange man he seems to think Trump Patriots are the only Patriots in this country, especially when they're white. Peas in a pod.

You do realize that this group of rioters were attacking THE DNC right? Do you know what the "D" in DNC stands for?

Yes there are those who are very outraged by Israel's handling of Palestine. Some even go as far as to sympathize or buy into anti Israel propaganda. There's even 1 person out of 200 that is a registered Democrat in Congress in the House of Representatives.

But labeling this entire group as "Democrats" is just a lazy attempt at a gotcha line that maybe FoxNews would throw out there to trick its ignorant watchers into believing.

The truth is these are collections of people (I believe some by progressives that might vote D, some might be Green party weirdo's, some might be Joe Roganites, and yes.... some are also probably MAGA) that are mad at Joe Biden for supporting Israel's ability to respond from the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust. These folks think that the President of the US controls the world and everyone does what he or she says at all times. Did Biden make a mistake at being too chummy with Netanyahu.... probably. Did Biden make a mistake at supporting Israel's ability to protect itself, and respond to a terrorist organization... IMO no.

The only thing we can be certain of though is that this group of people are MAD AT BIDEN and DEMOCRATS. Not really a group I would just ignorantly call "DEMOCRATS" just because you wanted to have a line bashing Democrats in every scenario.

 

Side Note that doesn't seem related, but still an important note regarding who is or is not a Democrat:

I want everyone to watch at least a few minutes of the new HBO documentary out there called "Love Has Won" I believe where it follows a group of weed smoking hippies in Colorado who develop into a cult that believe one of their drug addict members is literally god.

If someone like Astrodome watched 5 minutes of it, I guarantee you he say these are Liberal Democrats. However you dig into the story a bit more and find out that this is a group where all of them have gotten to this point of joining a cult because they started down the road of conspiracy theories, and distrusting the government so much that they are actually big enough Trump supporters through QAnon that their ideology states that Trump is a godlike figure whose powers transcend space a time to connect him BIOLOGICALLY to their cult leader lady. Oh and they blame everything on the Jews, and are antisemitic bigots.

-I say this to express to folks that the people protesting Democrats on Israel/Palestine aren't always Democrats.
-I also would add that many in the Muslim community are actually pretty damn conservative and fundamentalist too on policy, and wouldn't be voting for a Democrat had W not invaded the Middle East, and Trump wouldn't have done anti-Muslim things like the Muslim ban, etc.

When it comes to this topic, the fact is many of the most opinionated people on the topic do not know what the hell they are talking about and your an ignorant hack if you think you can just turn it into a Dem vs Rep debate.

It seems risky for Trump's defense to suggest that the jury pool could be tainted by publicity -- since that's exactly the gambit Trump is trying to employ.
