Just another Blazer team if you ask me too many superstars not enough guys who really care about winning. Toronto will not make no type of finals I see Magic making it before Toronto ever does so Hakeem enjoy the cold weather and god help you when you come here to play us because Francis and Mobley,Griffin,Mo,and Moochie are gonna make you pay.

Hello who knows we might wake up tomorrow and this could all be a bad dream.
If i was Les Ide renounce him making a trade for those plaers mentioned no way no how.

Hakeem wants to go to the east anyhow because He cannot hang with the west anymore and thats been proven. Just think people e had Hakeem what a handful of games last year everyone knows he will play every game in Toronto. Let Toronto deal with his ramadan and his lack of energy.

    Oops Hakeem

And I guess possibly that 1st rd pick Toronto has.....

Please...orlando has more stars than us. T-Mac and Hill are a better 1-2 punch than anything we have. We're a deep team but not deep in superstars, just good players. And if you'd seen our team play enough you'd know that comment about not wanting to win is totally off-base. Childs, Alvin, AD, Vince, JYD all care about winning and play hard.

Had to agree with walter on this one. I'm also a big fan of the Raptors, right next to the Rocks, that is. In my opinion, Vince Carter is pretty much the ONLY star that could put up points easily. Guys like Antonio Davis, Alvin Williams, etc... mainly known for their defensive skills, shouldn't be considered as stars.. In fact, I believe in their current roster, only Vinceand AD have played on an All-star team (correct me if I'm wrong), the rest, not even close to play on that level.

    POP QUIZ:

    Pick your front court

Dream, A Davis, Clark, J Williams

    or

Cato, Collier, Griff, Kenny and Mo

If i was Mobes or Steve or Vince i know which one i would rather play with!!!!!

If the Raptors landed Hakeem, they would have a starting line up Olajuwon, Antonio Davis, Morris Peterson, Vince Carter and Alvin Williams. Hardly on the Blazers level. Also, the entire Blazers roster from 6-10 could start for most other NBA teams. I seriously doubt that Eric Montross, Keon Clark, Jerome Williams, Dell curry and Chris Childs are anywhere on the level if the Blazers in this regard either.

It does put them a legit 2 deep at every spot but outside of Carter everyone is either a bit contributor, role player or starter - again not like the Blazers who have 10 starters and 5 role players. It's a much more balanced team and would still be below the luxury tax - again, not like the Blazers.

What a bogus comparison. I understand the disappointment in losing Hakeem (if indeed it does happen) but that is no reason to start dissing the team who lands him.
