    Depends.

Tari took one shot, which he missed seven times, offensively rebounded, and then finally put it in.

I gotta give props to Uncle Jeff tonight. Zion was going off in the first quarter and I thought he was for sure about to drop 40 on us. I felt like Jeff came in and threw his rhythm off a bit (maybe a lil bit of conditioning for Zion too?). Was very surprised to see Zion ended up with only(?) 24.

Both Bari and Tari didn't seem to be playing up to standard tonight. Tari had a couple of bad offensive possessions and whiffed after that one dime from Alpy but atleast Ime trust him in the 4th on defense.

You guys don't understand, KD's magic feet don't actually EVER touch the ground.

lol. Zion ... "... keep that private." That team has some talent, though, and they're going to be a load once they get CJ healthy, Zion is back to full speed and are comfortable with the new coach/plays.

Bari on Zion was a disaster waiting to happen. I thought Bari would get broken in half down low. But yeah, Uncle Jeff, as he's done pretty much all year, was solid as can be on defense. I could be wrong, but did Zion only score one bucket in the 4th? It was basically the usual suspects who saved this game late. The vets (FVV, Brooks, Green), Alpi, and everybody else contributing here and there including Tate and Jalen. In other words, a typical Rockets game lately where everybody contributes to the win.

1:50 on Fred's interview they ask if his role is the closer on this team because he's a champ.

His answer: "It will change from game to game."

Not to bring up old s*** but this is a Fred vs Head Honcho answer and you gotta love that we have this guy leading our young core. The change from Silas and KPJ -> Ime and FVV is so crazy drastic I feel like I'm high rn

    Observations:

FVV, Brooks, and Sengun are taking over the team. Jalen is playing within himself and finding his spots to contribute.

jeff Green is drinking from the fountain of youth.

    Jabari still getting comfortable.

we need a better backup center but we should give Landale time to get over injury.

Tate stepping up, Tari still shaking off rust.

this team is moving the ball and playing defense. A huge improvement over last yr.

Rockets were outshot and outrebounded. Where the defense really came through was in generating turnovers. Rockets took it away 18 times, Pelicans only 9.

That is why I would like to see them against a well rested Nuggets team in 2 days (4 days rest)

A team that is known to hold onto the ball.

WOW can we say Clutch Freddy? Such a shame I had to skip through this game, because that court is just too much. I blame our shooting on the court too, that must be distracting AF.

With Zion back, I still expected a win, but as I got to watch Brooks with 2 fouls quickly I thought we were lost...enter Jeff mf Green! People have been disrespecting him on here for weeks now, that he's old, that he should not play, just a vet signing and not a real center etc etc. We don't win this game without that man.

Sengun's hustle was Scola esque, Brooks got in there, a a team we went after it and it just shows that veterans who can play defense and want to play defense make all the difference in the world. I have no doubt Ime is a big difference maker too, but Silas was just incompetent so any coach with these guys could've made a serious difference.

Still, it's great to see everyone buy in and that we beat a team we should have had no chance in beating with a beast like Zion.

I think I would go further and say Ime is special and he is on a mission to rescue his career after his scandal in Boston.

I do not question his motives but he sure is 100% in on his job.

He’s been a great role player. Are you not happy, huh?
    And where’s O-Dowg after a win?
