It's been a while since I've felt butterflies in the stomach for a Rockets game.

 

Look forward to Tari, but definitely preparing for Brooks to go crazy tonight. Quick whistle, foul trouble, frustration technical, flagrant and maybe a lot of forced shots on offense. Hope he can pass the test and show his growth. We don’t need that immature Grizzly dude.

 

Not really happy with Jabari either, FWIW, but more hope than Green. I feel like Jabari might be hurt on those numbers by playing C minutes when Sengun is on the bench. It is 6 games this season though,

 

I guess new information doesn't readjust the narrative in your head.

 

I am posting this again just to remind people that LeBron knows how to play mind games and gain PR points.
He is a smart player and is an expert at knowing what to say to who and in what way.
Dont be fooled.

What sample of information are you referring into that makes Jalen the weakest link as a starter?

Also Green is just flat out more important. I want you to think of a time when Jabari was a non factor for 3 quarters but the coach decided to run everything through Jim during the 4th quarter AND the other team decided that still needed to double and blitz him to get the ball out of his hands to close out the game?

Jabari has now become a competent enough shooter where he stretches the floor but he doesn't come anywhere near the dynamicness of Green's ability to collapse defenses and start chain reaction hockey assist type plays that create consistent good looks for the team.

Ask yourself between Jalen and Jabari, who is Ime going to ask more to be a primary initiator to supplement a poor bench offensive unit? Ime understands a large part of our bench is offensively stunted. Is he going to trust Green or Jabari more to balance a bad offensive bench as the primary initiator to sustain a competent level of offense?

 

Green was better than Smith and Tate last year. Green is a lot better than he was his rookie season. Tari may be in the Top 5 players for the Rockets this year. I just don't see 5 guys better than Green was last year.

 

can't decide if I am watching episodes of Love Island or this game.

I’ve been getting butterflies ever since I realized Mr. Brooks has the bigs balls of them all..

 

I don't mean to be a bummer, but I had to put down my old boy today. His name was Paco. He had a Rockets name tag and was by my side for the last 13 seasons. I just hope we can win this one for Paco. I have never meant this as much as now...NUTS!

This is what I am afraid might happen, but I hope the awesome defense from the last 2 games will continue, and that will give Bron and the Lakers fits. Now, if only the refs will be fair, we could very well have a hell of a fun game. Boring at the end in the Rockets favor, perhaps?
