Eh, Will has a much higher motor/bend.

But yes, we are hearing similar thoughts.

Pass rushers for whatever reason not named Von Miller, take a season or two to come in to their own.

Would Will benefit from beefing up just a tad to fight those double teams? 10-15 lbs maybe?

Will Anderson is an animal, you just don't know football if you can't see it. Be patient, hell the great JJ Watt only had 5 sacks his rookie year and 20 the next. Certain positions take time and good coaching to develop. He's checking all the boxes, the sacks will eventually come.

He would benefit from having a talented DT next to him

Yes our DT's are mediocre at best. Rankin has been a disappointment and Collins is about average. An above average DT would elevate the sack totals immediately.

That goes without saying. I think if Will was playing around 250-255 it would help him create a stronger push and help to split double teams. He's already a force with good technique and tenacity add a little more blunt force and it could make him unblockable. To your point we've been needing a decent DT since DJ Reader left.

My own thought is that a dominant player creates opportunities for his team mates. Then those team mates create opportunities for the dominant player and we get a SWARM. But I haven't played since I was 11 and they still let me play on the line with the number 13.

What I love about this is his excitement surpasses Davis' (who got the sack), his passion for what he does is next level...when our DT's start demanding more attention, his value will be obvious to everyone!
