ClutchFans Game Thread: Lakers @ Rockets 11/8/2023

Sengun vs AD will be a very interesting matchup. Teams are treating Jabari as a real shooting threat now so the floor is spaced out. If Al P can score on Davis in iso then he can really dominate anyone. And if that doesn't work then hopefully Al P's passing out of the high post draws Davis away from the rim. That worked multiple times last night, although the Kings aren't really good defensively.

 

It's time to blow the Lakers away.

This was why Cam got sent to the G-League. CJ dropping 39 on his Lakers tomorrow.

 

I actually think both LA teams could be interesting matchups for us this season. If we can maintain that defensive pressure, we're going to tire these old (younger than me) men who're held together with duct tape asses out. The talent they have will mean we really have to work for it, but that might mean if we play like we did last game that the starters play in all 4 quarters. We could see the Alpi triple-dub, the Jalen 30 spot and the Bari 20/10 in any of those games if they're on. These broken old stars can't run with our kids the way FVV and Brooks can.
