I liked Alperen's defense against Sabonis.

Our defense looks really good. Starters especially.

It might be " selective perception" but I noticed that Udoka makes the final talk before the games to Alp always. Either Udoka put a certain emphasis on him or Alp gets litle bit late because of language barrier (very unlikely).

Udoka's final orders might be a reason for the fluctuations of Alp's rebounds. One game he gets 4 offensive rebounds and only one defensive and the other game 9 defensive and zero offensive.

    Worth to observe.

    Alperen Sengun:
    Year 1: 5.2 Fouls per36
    Year 2: 4.3 Fouls per36
    Year 3. 3.5 Fouls per36

    Year 1: 3.5 Turnovers per36
    Year 2: 3.2 Turnovers per36
    Year 3: 2.2 Turnovers per36

Alperen 3rd Year: 21 years old
    18.4 points
    8.6 rebounds
    6.0 assists
    32.8 MPG

He is showing massive maturity on both ends. I still believe that he can be a starting C for a top 10 defense…

I think his teammates and coaches are afraid to tell him they don't want any part of his pregame ritual. You know, the one where he is slamming into everyone full weight, lol.

    Not advised.
He quit talking to the ball and look at his FT% now.
He quits slamming into people and poof - there go the moves in the paint.

Zebras started showing some respect on defensive end. It'd be nice if they start showing some respect on offensive end as well because they didn't call 2 blatantly obvious shooting fouls on Sabonis yesterday.

Jokic year 3: 18ppg/10rbg/6apg. Strikingly similar.

I still don’t think he’s gonna be Jokic, but if he can be 75-80% of Jokic that’s a strong pillar and a key cog.

There is no 100% or 1 to 1 player becoming their Idol situation ever.

Jokic has two things better than Sengun: Size and shooting.

You can't do anything about size other than training to be stronger and making use of better speed to compensate.

Shooting is the absolute key for Sengun to turn into an MVP type player.

Agreed. If he becomes a legit shooter he will be something different.

I mean if what reporters say is true then nobody is on Jokic level, not Lebron in one aspect.

Predicting possessions 2-3 steps ahead of the opposition. Chess mastermind.

That is some otherwordly.......out of this galaxy type of stuff.

I would like to present Kobe as my evidence. Dude would mimic Jordan's voice. Only one I can think of.
One of them was a continuation with the plus one. Probably misses the free throw but the 2 points would have been nice.
