He's harder than Mike and he's harder than Christ.

    Might be worth the risk.

We were not a Play in/Playoff team and probably still not to this day. If Sengun is as great as you say, the Rockets would have been making strides earlier to speed up the growth process.

He's good but not great! Great is the ability to change the game on BOTH sides of the ball, doing things on the court that has never been seen before. Being able to fill the stat sheet in multiple ways; points, rebounds, blocks, assist, steals on a NIGHTLY basis. He's good and yes, he has talent BUT he's not HIM.

And you must not be very knowledgeable, because the correct way to write is, Man, are you dumb? If you're going to try and insult someone, at least do it the correct way.

No need for more troublemakers. No thanks to Kai Jones.

The woman beater ruined that here.

No one wants to take a chance on crazy because of him - even if the potential is the dude turns into the next Dennis Rodman.

Steph Curry able to change the game on both sides of the ball?

Was his team able to make strides earlier? Let's see Golden State Warriors record during Steph's first 3 years:

    2009-10: 26-56
    2010-11: 36-46
    2011-12: 23-43

And all this without Silas as his coach putting in Bruno Fernando as a starter for KPJ!

Jones is worth a conversation. I understand whatever happens after because of his off court issues. Sadly I wanted to trade for him in the off season because of his on court skills. He is our missing piece.

There is always an opportunity, we should pick him up on a long, non guaranteed, minimalish contract and ride till he jumps off. Net cost, next to nothing. He has the ability to move the needle as a player. Not much but there is movement. If we can wait on Green, let’s wait on Jonessie, too. I steady diet of playing time may cure him and us. I believe he is acting out to get out of a toxic to him place.

    Let the circus begin.

What a terrible idea. We need a back up center, but not another unskilled athlete who thinks he's God's gift to basketball.

KPJ looked normal to you. Maybe even still does.

I think the Rockets days as being the team that takes in wayward children and misunderstood troublemakers ended when Coach Udoka showed up. Let Kai be someone else's reclamation project/headache.

Exactly. Suffering once through the KPJ era is enough for me. That interview shows Kai ain't ready to change, don't need to mess with our chemistry.

    Can't we get Capela back?

Yes, but not all players will respond to a coach like Ime.

Then you cut him, this is a no risk move.

You can't p***y up just because you had one bad experience - you still got to stand in there and swing.

If play on the court was the only factor, perhaps I could agree.
My worry is that, even in a short stint, he could poison the minds of some of the players.

Yea Jim stop pussying UP. You need to get on board right now with defending KPJ, and bringing in Kai Jones! What other weirdos can We bring in now that we finally have the roster and chemistry, heading in a very straight and narrow direction!

Newsflash, in any industry where you were building young teams of professionals, you want to avoid such people.

Now DD is a very successful computer person but I doubt that he would be bringing in the computer industry, equivalent of Porter or Jones to help him on his next project. But maybe he would, because they could work offsite and focus on development.

Point being that for this basketball team we need neither Kai Jones or Kevin Porter. There is no sound logic on constantly advocating for these people.
