I know it's a waste of breath reproaching Trump, but it seems really disrespectful to Israel right now and to all the families who have loved ones held as actual hostages in Gaza to trivialize their pain with a false equivalency to the perps at the Jan 6 riot.
Since when did Trump respect anyone who didn't kiss his butt or do his dirty work for him? He puts insurrectionists or anyone threatening Democrats on a pedestal, and gives them hope that he will tout them as heroes. Not heroes to our country or others, but heroes to himself. In his warped and entitled brain he wonders how a man not raised in the hood could be held accountable for crimes. It's just so unfair to him. After all, he never had to be held accountable his whole life, and blamed everyone but himself for his failures. Just today he spoke again about his poor poor victimhood... OUR COUNTRY IS UNDER THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF THREAT EVER, AND YET ALL THE DOJ & FBI WANT TO DO IS GO AFTER DONALD TRUMP AND HIS FAMILY. SAD!!! The sad part is that there are FBI agents putting their lives on the line every single day to catch domestic terrorists, serial killers, and others who murder innocent people. Trump gives them no respect. None.

My thinking is that Johnson attached a poison pill IRS provision to Israel aid so that we would be talking about that instead of the fact that he separated Ukraine aid from Israel aid. He aims to 'give in' on the IRS measure to give a clean Israel bid without Ukraine attached.
