He’s a competitor and seeing Holiday ball out while he’s on the bench is going to mentally expedite his recovery. That’s the thing with Ine coached teams though. The Celtics were the same way. They were generally healthy because players were doing all they can to get back to playing. They don’t want to lose minutes to the next man up
Playing is even more fun and Amen is already the backup . If he lose that role to another backup, and winds up in the gleague he’s toast. Ime is a Pops disciple and he’ll do that Amen if it helps him become a better professional because right now in the short team Holdauu has been more affective as a backup pg.
