Giannis shot damn near 62% from the field in the Finals.

Jimmy Butler in both his finals appearances combined averaged 48% from the field.

You aren’t winning a ring if your leading scorer averages 40% from the field and relies on free throws to be efficient.

I have grown tired of the blue-team-Franchise-Player-Kid tbh

I mean what a ‘regular season’ puppet.

What are his accomplishments in postseason?

    crickets.

Nothing means much over a 4 game span so all of this knee jerking is dumb.

    Talk about a LOW BAR!
What % of the players in the league would meet this threshold (better than Jabari and Jalen)?
    Hint. It's a 2 digit number.
    Is the 1st digit a 9 or an 8 (9*% or 8*%)?

    Disagree.
He's a plus defender but has been slightly underwhelming for the expectations I originally had for him and is nowhere near the menace that Tari is on defense!
Doesn't get around screens very close to his man at all.
And if you look at his "stocks", in 9 NBA games total (preseason too) he has 8 TOTAL stocks in those 9 games.
Only once has he had multiple stocks in a game.
He had 2 steals against the Heat preseason.
Sad thing is even with that he's still probably at least the 4th best defender on the team already.
    But again REALLY low bar!
I'm hoping he will improve with time though.

Hope he improves his shot but what's holding him back even more imho is his loose handle.
Won't be able to practice that much with the ankle (unless he just sits in a chair and practices dribbling exercises).
Even on shooting I wonder if practicing it while favoring a bad ankle could lead to negative changes in said shooting mechanics?
And with a 2nd degree sprain he's probably going to have to wait awhile even to shoot on it at all.
With all the time he ALREADY missed after summer league I consider this a BIG-TIME delay in his development!

Have no way to prove this but I don't think Cam's being held back because he wouldn't be a "net positive" sometimes but because Ime's trying to get him to integrate into our team offense instead of just jacking up a shot or driving into 3 players at he rim.
He's had history of this and seems to be VERY strong willed in this regard.
I think Ime feels this is by far the best time to break him of his tunnel vision.
When he's a rookie and should be willing to listen to Ime and all the vets trying to drill this into him.
Bad habits are HARD to break!

Agreed. Don't you know CHA fans have to be pissed at the FO.
Remember they gave up Duren(13th iirc) for ONLY a 2025 Bucks 1st rounder.
They also had the next pick and/BUT were left with Mark Williams instead of Duren.
Such a "hornets" thing to do!
When I think of how much an physical, uber athletic, rim-running big like Duren would change our team outlook.
Brook Lopez was SUCH a big loss for us.
    But great trade DET!

Can we take one or two of our future 2nd's and package it with Stone to DET for Troy Weaver please!

A lot of things to like about this game, a lot of things to not like. I'll take the W, and appreciate the good moments, but I'm not sure there will be all that many W's in the near future unless we cut out some of the bad that continues to happen.

Really enjoyed the game last night. Actually missed the game thread entirely because I was so enthralled in the first win. Don't think anybody had a "bad" game really, the consistency's starting to come and the offense is definitely looking smoother as time goes by. Once it's fully rolling, if our core 3 youngsters (Sengun, Green, Bari) keep on the way they are with incremental improvements we should see a pretty consistent looking squad in the next couple of months. Once consistency's set in, those breakout games will come. So much potential in all of our guys, regardless of how much y'all like to **** on them.

Pretty sure the last thing Tilman wants is this girl within shouting range of his creepy offspring.

People getting all bent out of shape over the Amen to the G-League is just a matter of perspective. I see the G-League as a place where they can sharpen, hone and develop their skills and toolset. Far from a demotion.
