Absolutely...not a good decision there.

I like to just keep looking for what a good game for him would be according to CF. 7 of 10 for 70% and 3 of 5 on 3's, 6 rebounds (not great) and 4 assists. Not earthshaking but certainly not bad. He didn't box out a couple of times but I could name others that didn't as well.I really like FVV and his leadership but he is obviously a liability when opposing players penetrate the lane to the basket.Brooks and Alpy really good.

 

Amen is incredible on defense. He is massive and smaller guards have no idea what to do when he gets switched on them. Terrible luck with his ankles this year.

 

Get him the Curry shoes and braces.

At least its not a knee.

 

Jalen had 23/4/3/2 on 60% TS with only 1 turnover and goofballs are saying he played bad overall. He wasn’t good during the middle portion of the game but he started and finished the game incredibly. Not a game to throw a parade over but a good game nonetheless.

Prayers up for Amen. I really need to see those Amen-Tari mins

We can disagree, but I'll say when you give up 18 point leads in about half-a-quarter or whatever, hit 21 3's but the other team is still in it until basically the end of the game, and give up over 40 points in the 4th quarter while trying to put the other team away, I'm not overly impressed. Keep in mind this was the Hornets, on top of that. I did love the passing, hustle, and some defensive stints in the game, though. Still a ways to go, but it was a fun game to watch.

I'm still worried about the rebounding and interior d.

Dillon Brooks - A+. Played like a superstar.

FVV - A+. also played like a superstar.

Sengun - A+. 3rd member of the Rox big 3 tonight. I loved that even Charlotte gigantic front line couldn't stop him.

Jabari - A. Super efficient but had bad moments on D. Loved the aggression though

Jalen - B. Didn't play up to his standards imo was extremely passive and didn't really showcase his elite athleticism settling for jumpshots and avoiding contact. These stuff don't show in boxscores so stfu how efficient he is, if you actually watched the game you'd know. Dude was 38% from the field and only got his efficiency up thanks to free throws given by Charlotte gimme a break. Also had bad lapses on defense I'm ok with him getting abused by Gordon Hayward but Rozier just toyed with him. He shot 4/8 from 3 though so at least that's good.

Aaron Holiday - B+. Guy needs more burn.

Amen - F. Amen played like trash and then got injured wtf. Send him to GLeague for some seasoning.

Landale - C+. Was actually decent defensively but flopped so many shots.

Unc Green - B. A bit of a wash, at least he got some scoring for the 2nd unit.

Tate - C+. Loved the activity but he kept turning the ball over and missing shots.

Ime - B. This dude needs to use the bench more. We got Samuels as a 3rd string backup and freaking Cam Whitmore. Like why is Amen always the first one off the bench but Whitmore can't even get a minute of PT?

 

our first win of the season and u just cant b happy. Everybody stuffed the stats, everybody was sharing the ball, the little things and oh yea our first win.

 

They were saying Jalen was garbage last game and he had 22. this dude cant win at all, lol

Unfortunately, you are correct.

Its nice to win, but we barely scraped by and hit an ungodly 57% from 3, which is only going to happen rarely. (although to be fair Cha wouldn't normally be that hot either)

One of these days, we will not get slaughtered on the boards, but alas, tonight was not that night.

Watching the NBA on TNT during last night's Spurs vs. Suns game....Barkley said 19,20 year olds not named Jordan don't really go off..they just don't. He mentioned a few...Kobe Bryant being one ( he was 18) along with several others. There was general agreement among the group that that was true. I just still think that Jalen, Jabari, Alpy ( coming along well), Amen as well...just takes time to adapt to the league.

 

LOL. Imagine arguing that Green had a bad game and then giving him a “B.” This board is absurd at times.
