Lol, you are funny. I would argue that Silas and Head Honcho led us to a 42-125 record, while Sengun was at best a supporting actor in that (****)show.
Lol. Don't forget his best games last year we sucked. If he's our franchise player we'll be worst than last year
I have never thought about their race when I choose them. I guess you are little bit over-sensitive about white players picked over others. Not my problem. Giddey-Sengun-Wagner are the best of the bunch. Hakeem is my favourite player and P.Ewing is the one I hate most. I don't care skin colour when I like or dislike a player. I don't like Drew Eubanks and S.Curry, regardless what race they belong to. Grow up. Don't label people racist or whatever. A certain religious group is keen to call anyone criticise them as anti something. Don't be one of them. If you want to discuss basketball-wise we can talk about where Cade,JGreen,Mobley will be. If you want to discuss racism, go someone else's garden. Not my issue, not my problem.
There is a group of old-timers here that includes smart posters @Clutch, @Deuce, @BimaThug, @MadMax who all seem to agree on a certain narrative.
We are 3 games into the season under a new coach and new system. Are you seriously going to pin the last two seasons on Sengun when we had the worst coach in NBA history who did his best to marginalize Alpi at every possible opportunity while trying to make the woman beater the next Harden?
What Salman is saying here is so blatantly obvious that you have to be blind or dumb or just so invested in your bad takes the last two years and absolutely refuse to accept reality. He’s talking to plenty of you on here including some of the head honchos of rockets fandom.
So Sengun annihilated Mark Williams so bad the Hornets had to bench him in the last 5 minutes of the 4th. Haters here? Of course not. They get loud on off days as always.
I’m impressed by Sengun’s showings as a goto scorer/playmaker late in games. 3s and Freethrows are the only thing holding him back from being a star. I’d like to see consistent double digit rebounds too. But overall year 3 is starting off great for him.
This was a matchup that gave him issues last year. Now he moved Williams with ease. "His spin move is so fast." Hornets announcer. The other one, "He has a funky bag. So fun to see." But yeah if he could hit a free throw to save his life, he'd be averaging 21.5. With him being the hub, it would put him at the third best center. All at age 21. https://www.espn.com/nba/stats/player/_/position/center
Once again he was Ime’s go to player in crunch time. Sengun skeptics may have to start hating on the coach soon, because as we all know they are so much smarter than Udoka.
He is settled for 19/9/6 so far for 32.5 mpg. This is his floor for 3rd year. I care more about rebs and assists rather than points. As he started to talk to ball again he can improve FTs % and can average 21.5 or 22 easily but has to grab more rebs. His PF was only 1 in this soft NBA world. He should make at least 4 fouls a game. OK, not 6 but 4 NBA fouls at least which is equal to 2 FIBA fouls. Otherwise to easy to attack to the rim when he is defending.
